The Free Indian "Independence day editorial"

Dear Country Men and Women,

India Has completed its 62year as a free democratic secular republic in the real world; she has shown exemplary value in upholding democracy while nations which gained independence in the same era have lapsed into military dictatorships and anarchy. There was a time when our leader has to knock the doors of world power for shipping our wheat (which they otherwise dumped in sea to control prices) for hungry millions. Within half a century Indians have achieved a respectable position in the world.

How India is able to hold on to democracy while others failed, it is due to the freedom which was won by struggling against tyranny of imperialism in slow non violent way (cannot ignore the contributions of revolutionary freedom fighters in increase the headache of imperialists).

Thus eIndia too is becoming strong from within due to our dedication, the dedication of citizens who has stuck to the nation in spite of low wages, unemployment. Lack of food, lack of resource regions. And build it the the position it is now at... we still have a long way to go. Quoting Swami Vivekananda... Arise Awake and stop not till the Goal is reached... Our Goal is Complete Independence of eIndian, (purna swaraj) and we shall have it.

Freedom is Never Free; there is a price we have to pay for the freedom we enjoy, that is constant alertness
