Lord commisar brown
Hello readers, as some of you may know I am a newer player to erepublik, I have made short plays in the past but never really stuck around due to being too busy, but the idea of the game always entertained me.
I've seen as a new player that there is grave issues in erepublik mainly the lack of active players and also the lack of new players, in my 10 days of playing I have reached rank 412/570 in eCanada. So how many new players are quitting early?
Another thing I've noticed is the economy seems to be in bad shape, I seen an article about the game producers doubling the usage rate of weapons and food, which I understand are very important in waging wars.
I can understand as a free game this game lives off of the purchase of gold, but seeing a game where the community is so upset makes me reluctant to invest my real money into gold for a game that may die off.
I've enjoyed the game and will continue to enjoy it, I've seen a wonderful community who cares about the game I just want everyone to see the possible perspective as a new player in the new world
EDITORS NOTE,
I Apologize for the lack of pictures I am working off of mobile only till I have my desktop repaired

It's always good to hear from new players.
The economic module is indeed a mess. It's especially tough for new players who, unless they buy gold, have to rely heavily on their wages to get the food and weapons they need, although if you fight in the right battles, more money can be made.
If you ever do think about buying companies to make your own food and weapons, do the math first. Also, as you may already have read, you really shouldn't be investing in companies until you've upgraded your first two training centres.
You have wisely chosen the Whorehouse so your already on the path to greatness.
Great to hear from somebody new and liking the game
Glad you're enjoying eCan 🙂 Don't worry about pictures too much as long as you have something to say the rest doesn't really matter .
I'd be interested in paying money for new content or to unlock unavailable abilities. Money seems necessary if you want to start up your own MU or become a warrior CP. Buying facilities that increase your stats isn't new content in my books. But I can see how people get a rush buying bazooka boosters or other battle tools.
I have a system. I will work and train for months, collecting money for train upgrade and when I achive enough straight I will bang some asses. It would be much faster and easier if I can affort RL money to buy some gold, but hey that's life😉
and welcome back🙂
