The First Step Forward
Nitrous Oxide
Alright, so here's where stuff gets exciting on my part. I've always wanted to bridge the gap between the Indonesian "PTO" group, and the old guard here in Thailand.
First off, I've been asked by KuBu to be the Minister of Media and Internal Communication, a position which I have accepted. Now, I get to do some bridge building.

I truly believe KuBu wants to help Thailand. Although his method of intrusion wasn't the best, we have to work with what we've got. See, KuBu is more than a medal hunter or gold hunter, and he doesn't want to be President just to retreat Southern Thailand to Indonesia.
The problem we have is that we created a stereotype that all Indonesians are PTOers. Perhaps he gained illegitimate votes from some friends, or something, without a doubt, but that doesn't mean he wants to ruin Thailand and wreck the place.
I've always imagined a unity between our two nations, because Indonesia could provide active players who have grown tired of the way Indonesia works... or something.
However, KuBu cited something about political elitism. Well, it's true, we have our group and our group runs the show. The one thing he hasn't realized, is that our group is more than open to new people, as long as they can prove themselves as people who legitimately want to help the country.
So, here I am, in a nice position between the two camps, ready to lay the foundation of a nice sturdy bridge. I've thrown the ball in KuBu's court, and if he officially appoints Jimmy_Miller as Minister of Finance, then he's obviously here for the best interest of the country. If not, then we have a long way to go, and my job gets exponentially harder.
Oh, and vote NO on this proposal!

Sup, Thai fighter?
"our group is more than open to new people, as long as they can prove themselves as people who legitimately want to help the country."
Yes, but new people should start from the bottom and work for the country BEFORE they get themselves elected as president.
Apart from that, I agree that we overreact to any Indonesian candidate - just because we have been PTO'd so many times. They keep doing it although we have made clear that we don't want this - and that's basically not nice and should not be answered with friendship.
What we have to do is to be realistic and work together. I propose to work out a common set of goals for the next 30 days with KuBu, representing the Indonesians in Thailand. The goals could include giving Southern Thailand to Indonesia in return for a long-term peace treaty - an older idea of mine that lost its relevance when we had the US protecting Southern Thailand.
On the other hand, I doubt that we can reach an agreement that includes removing the Indonesian multis with Thai citizenship - and this is why the fight will go on, and we will have to fear another PTO in the next election, and we will fight back as good as we can. Not the strongest will win in the end, but the one who always keeps standing up after having been struck down.
Wewt. Just got a f'in warn and deletion of an article.
F'in Admin has no idea what the f is going on =.=
