Swords and Ploughshares would like to encourage, remind, cajole, goad, pressure and provoke all able citizens of the United Netherlands to take up your weapons, check your health and take the fight to enemy in Poland! Hostilities have begun in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, and the United Netherlands is on the frontline of the fight! This newspaper asks you, the common person of the United Netherlands, to go to the fight!
Some may ask, why should I fight for Germany? The reasons are of course, many. Germany has been a good friend of the United Netherlands since their troubles with their previous allies in EDEN - German soldiers were there to fight in our war against the United States and the war against the group, and now this newspaper asks you, the common person of the United Netherlands, to reward that loyalty.
Germany has long been in the front line of the war against tyranny and foreign domination, having been invaded by Poland, and a host of other countries several times. Every time so far, it has been liberated with the help of allies from abroad. Swords and Ploughshares asks you, the common person of the United Netherlands, to fight the good fight for democracy and self-determination in North Rhine-Westphalia, and be part of that liberation! Of course last but not least, remember that Germany is not some far away place beyond our borders. If Germany were ever to fall, it would be the United Netherlands that found itself with aggressors on our borders - the fight for Germany's defence is the fight for the defence of the United Netherlands. Germany is the frontline of democracy, and the frontline of our Union's defence! Dont delay, take up your arms and join the fight for Germany, and the fight for the United Netherlands!

Just consider that if you stayed neutral we would not care of you. It would be a great waste of gold for us to declare war to you and attack your regions. There will be more important battles for us. But since you have already spent tons of gold on war declaration (just remind me how much was that, 2k? 3k?)you will be conquered because of the path you chose.

yeah, right... nice story bro." Germany has been invaded by Sweden Three times if I am correct. After that they regained their independence. Then Sweden along WITH Poland attacked them again.

You will also never take away the feeling and pride of us, a country with 1100 people declaring war on the biggest country in erepublik.

Even if the UNL is occupied, PHOENIX whiped out, Amsterdam burning and all possibilities of victory gone, we will never beg for peace! We will continue the fight untill the end of times. We might be few, but be assured that we are going to give you a headache.
