The feeling of belonging and being lost!

Day 3,766, 11:34 Published in India Croatia by Kame.sensei

Rip Van Winkle slept for twenty years and when he woke up, everything had changed! His house was in a dilapidated condition, his family was no more and his neighbors were strangers! All he recognized was the tree he slept under. Coming back after years, I feel the same way!

While the overall look is similar, the interface is quite different. I failed to locate my newspaper, I could not recall which party I belonged to before I left. Back in the day there was no aerial combat or an air force. There was just one mammoth military unit that performed the task of defence. What is worse is that I no longer know what housing is or how the markets function! I feel like a total stranger and yet something feels familiar.

After long hours stumbling around eRepublik in eIndia, I found that what felt familiar was all the bickering that is still going on in eIndia. It was like that when I joined, it was like that each time I logged in, it is like that even today. I feel like Rip Van Winkle recognizing the tree.
