For those who don’t know me, I am lancer450 and I am the current Vice Party President of the Dutch Revolutionary Party. Some may be wondering who or what the Dutch Revolutionary Party is. Well, I am here to tell you!
Active
The DRP is a party dedicated to giving ALL players a voice and to cultivating and educating those who wish to have an impact in the eDutch community and eDutch government. While we may be small for the moment, we are strong and we are just as active as some of the largest parties throughout the eNetherlands. Just recently we have seen a surge in party membership from 8 to 14 total members over the course of about a week! We are constantly engaging with these members and also with the general public through several news publications every single week.
Transparency, Democracy, & Efficiency
Our party is dedicated to enacting transparent and efficient policies not only in regards to our party itself, but also promoting it on a national scale. In the DRP, everybody has a say and everybody is involved if they choose to be. We value everyone’s opinions and respect them while holding to democratic processes to be able to get things done. For example, in selecting a candidate in the CP election, we involved everyone in a group message to discuss and to vote on who we wanted to see as the next Country President of eNL. Policies like these, we believe, are what keep our members informed and active.
Fun & Community
We are also aware that, at the end of the day, this is a game. And, to us, a game is meant to be fun and is to allow those who play it to relax and focus on community. We realise this and absolutely promote a friendly and fun environment in the DRP. One of the ways we do this is through a friendly weekly competition that is based off of the weekly challenges that are operated by Plato. The Next Generation of Country Presidents
Something we have not necessarily placed much emphasis on in the past is the fact that we, at the DRP, are focused on the next generation of Country Presidents for the eNetherlands. Our goal is to help to inform and to provide a platform for those who really want to get more experience and knowledge in order to someday serve as Country President. We have seen in countries throughout the New World and even in the eNetherlands, that Country Presidents are often recycled in and out one after another. A group of the same, older players are constantly fighting over the same position rather than giving someone newer a crack at it. We want to educate the newer and less experienced in our party and in the eNetherlands in order to prepare them to be able to someday run for Country President and do a good job. We believe we need some new blood as some may say. We have seen communities crumble and die as a result of stagnant leadership and so we are going to do our best to help players like LeoVinciDa and others with great potential to one day become the Country President of our amazing country!
So, if you like what the DRP is and what it stands for and if you agree with the central ideas our party is based on and you are excited about the goals and aims the DRP has set forth, then we welcome you all to join our party. We would love to have you!

I figure I should get this off my chest.
Personally, I can't and won't support your party because you are all foreigners. You guys came in and within a month created your own party with the hopes of gaining political power. I'm not sure how or why anyone would attempt to support what could be seen as a PTO party.
Had to say it. I don't think you guys have bad intentions, and you probably will continue to grow until you reach top 5, but I can't shake the feeling I get when I think about how your party was founded. I know others agree with me, but no one seems to have the courage to say it.

I understand what you're saying. Though I do take issue with your statement. We aren't all foreigners. Schoft is RL Dutch as well as LeoVinciDa, el Trench, and several others in our party. I only know for certain of 3 foreigners in our party, which includes myself. So we aren't all foreigners as you're claiming.
Besides that, I am sort of confused as to why you are a member of BG then. The PP of BG just emigrated here on the 26th of November, long after our party had been in existence. That can be seen just as much as a PTO threat especially since it appears he could have been brought in by another member of the community to get another vote in the election and now has him in place in control of BG to further his own agenda. I don't want to name any names in order to prevent a big argument in the comments so I'll refrain from doing that.
Anyways, I don't know how to else to prove it to anyone that we have no bad intentions whatsoever. Just during this past CP election we considered supporting both candidates based on their merits. We also encouraged members like LeoVinciDa and Nakbula who was a member at the time and also a RL Dutch to apply to the candidates' respective cabinets in order to get more experience and learn more. As you can see, Cody and I, the two main foreigners in our party, have not even applied to run for congress when we were given the chance and, on top of that, neither of us tried to apply for a cabinet position and we did not try to run for CP either. We clearly aren't in it for "political power." If you look at our actions since the creation of our party, they actually indicate that we are trying to help a lot of younger RL Dutch and not ourselves.
Perhaps one day you will be able to look past the few foreigners in our party. I don't know how long it will take but we will prove that we are only concerned for the well-being of the eNetherlands and the citizens who are tired of the current political climate here.

I think what Aries means is non-E-Dutch, rather than non-Dutch. He himself is non-Dutch and Thanatos is also non-Dutch, and in fact i have no clue about the RL cs from others in BG (and no1 cares, really). But they have long histories as being E-Dutch so they are beyond any doubt, when it comes to that. At least thats how I see it.
I have no opinion about this myself, but its true you guys started a party rather quickly after immigrating, and I can understand that some people find that interesting (in some way), especially in our ever tense and exciting political landscape.
But its a free world.

If this is a PTO we would not promote an article about helping the next generation of CP/politicians. If we had bad intentions we would be running for CP and not discuss the opportunity that others have. I do think you are yourself not Dutch at all, so the question I should get of my chest is are you trying to PTO eNetherlands Aries?
Yep, I'm trying to PTO Netherlands as a previous Netherlands CP.

Again, how is it that almost all of us are foreigners? I keep seeing this claim being made. It is false. Just because some of us are new here, that doesn't mean all of us are. On top of that, some of us who have been here for a relatively short period of time have actually done more for the eNetherlands compared to those who continue to attack us based mostly on superficial reasoning.

It pains me to see these negative comments. I understand that eNL is weary of foreigners, but what DRP is doing is the opposite of what you are accusing them of. They're trying to prove themselves as an integrated part of the community through writing articles and starting good initiatives. The revolutionary group has always contributed positively, be it in South Africa, Australia or America. They started their own party in most countries because their ideology is quite unmatched in intensity. Salutations, I hope the people of eNL get to know you better.

Obviously you've never heard of van Spijck or his new alias, the Admiral. He doesn't get recycled, he does the recycling. Next campaign slogan? 😛
