An airplane was once making a routine flight from Hackensack, New Jersey to New York City. The people on board where the world's smartest politician, the pilot (also a father), a Boy Scout, and a devout Christian. In mid-flight, the engine stalled, and there where only three parachutes. The pilot said, " I've got a family down there. I need to live so I can take care of them" so he grabbed a parachute and jumped out. The world's smartest politician said, I've got an election coming up, so I'd better live so I can win it." So he grabbed a parachute and jumped out. That left the Boy Scout and the Christian in the plane and only 1 parachute. The Christian said, "I have lived a long life. I am prepared for. Go and grab that parachute for yourself." The Boy Scout got his parachute and was about to jump when he said, "Hey, there is one for you too. The world’s smartest politician grabbed my backpack
Here is the list of my proposed cabinet if I’m elected president tomorrow. It will also give you some idea of what I think is important. I’ll not go into all the minor details as I hate walls of text – and I’m sure you do too.
Deputy President – Black8Shadow
My right hand man. Will advise the president and fill in where needed.
Minister of Finance - Hireshmont Vellos
Responsible for setting monetary policy through the Reserve Bank (RBSA), and formulating new strategies to help our economy grow.
Minister of Safety and Security - Keanu Stryker
The main function of this position will be to prevent anymore attacks like the one we have seen this by The Theocrats. His job will be to monitor the political situation in the country and inform the president and other ministries as soon as a possible threats are detected. He will also formulate contingency plans to deal with these attacks.
Minister of Intelligence – Me-262
He will gather intelligence internally and externally to assist other government departments. I’m particularly interested in holes in the Indo situation (not military) but leverage for negotiation. The Ministry will serve the entire government. Knowledge is power and this will be crucial if we are to reclaim our land peacefully. It will also make us aware of other possible threats.
Minister of Education - Jizzie McGuire
Will be responsible for helping out new players and teaching them the basics of the game as well as encouraging them to become involved on our national forum. Will appoint new professors to teach at the University and will run eUNISA.
Minister of Foreign Affairs – James Silver
Will be responsible for negotiating MPP's and appointing ambassadors to other countries. He will also keep in touch with ambassadors to SA. Will also coordinate our alliance program.
Minister of Defense - Boere Generaal
Will be responsible for organizing our Army and coordinating their efforts in times of war. Will also need to liaise with the Minister of Finance and Minister of Social Affairs to insure out troops are well supplied and kept healthy during battle.
Minister of Social Affairs - Davewa
Responsible for working out plans for defense and hospital systems in conjunction with the Minister of Defense. Together with the finance and security ministers work out a plan on how to build a strong war industry and how to create a safety line for this nation's citizens. Responsible for making sure the new health organizations get funding and are accountable.
Minister of Justice & Constitutional Development - ERDWURM
Handles proposed changes to the constitution and deals with law breakers as needed.
Minister of Communication - Brendan E Austerion
Responsible for maintaining the forum and wiki. Will also compile a weekly report from all ministers and report to public about what the government is currently doing. This has been a problem in the past and will insure that the ministries are all doing their job and that the public is informed.
The ministers have freedom to run their ministries as they wish – I will look for results not the process. I ask the ministers to provide me and the congressmen with regular updates as to the progress being made via the forum (http://z13.invisionfree.com/eSouthAfrica/index.php?)
The ministers will also have the freedom to appoint people to assist them. (professors/ambassadors/generals/agents etc.) If you are willing to assist a ministry I suggest you contact that minister. Thank you everyone for your support.

Oh... wait... there are 8 FA ministers and only 3 from other parties.
Also, I agree with Hanson- where are their qualifications? Why would Me-262 be a good Minister of Intelligence? Why would Boere be a good Minister of Defence?
You want to take Brendan out of Defense and put Boere General in? Thats...bold, bold indeed. Brendan has done an incredible job with it, there is no reason to remove him at all. If you do win, Sir, I hope you change your mind about this one, if nothing else.
Nevertheless, this is all hypothetical at the moment. Don't count your chickens before they hatch, Browski. Because I think the Black Lion just may raid your hen house tomorrow.

Interesting cabinet.... unsurprising that the VP is a Party big-wig...
Not counting chickens yet - and yes there is a move away form the inclusive, do nothing and bicker over everything cabinet to one that will work hard and get the job done. And yes there are some bold moves that may stress some people out - thats ok - if your are puting your ego on the back seat and the cgood of the country first.
I have no reason to list their quilifications as they have proved themselves to me and the party already.
What about to South Africa? Do they not have to prove themselves to SA too?
Do tell me what Boere Generaal offers as MoD.
Personally I'd think he'd be much better in my position in your Cabinet- he's a good taskmaster and would be good at the job.

All of them have already been working in some capacity for the good of the country - ambasidors, intelegence etc. so they have already proved themselves. Please do some research befor you critisise them - these are great eSouth Africans.
The choices for the positions are some of the worst I can possibly think of. I think FA is running out of people they can trust, so they have to turn to some people who don't deserve these positions.
Black8Shadow seems a little to rushed into high office, and he isn't handling himself very well with the media.
Keanu Stryker is not necessarily the best person... for anything.
Me-262... has he ever had any political position or intelligence gathering for the nation? Is FA just going to put more politically inexperienced players in a very important and fragile position?
Who is James Silver?
Boere is not a good choice for the army, he will probably scrap everything and never come up with a plan.
Who is Davewa?
ERDWURM used the constitution and bended it to his will, what makes him a good choice for the minister of Justice? Lmao...

With all due respect, I haven't posted a proposed cabinet because I feel I would be premature and arrogant to do so. I'm not calling Browski arrogant - that's just how I'd feel about myself id I did that. I've never heard of a RL presidential candidate announcing his cabinet before he's elected, but I guess that since this is not RL, anything goes.
I appreciate you including me in your cabinet, Browski, as I will probably do the same with you. However, as I stated at the start of my campaign, if I happen to lose, I will be leaving politics for a while to go fight against the Indos and their allies overseas. If you win, and that is very much up in the air now, I will have to respectfully decline the position.
I agree with most of the others here. Some of these tentative appointments do make me worry about eSA's possible future.
