Join the new world

Fellow citizens and friends of eGermany,

As I promised in my last article once again in english for all friends of eGermany!

Once again, time is steadily progressing, and a month has passed. A lot happened and the 5th is approaching. It is unstoppable and the most important position in the nation must be elected! I already announced my intention to run for president a few days ago and now also the english reader will see what I wrote. eGermany is moving forward into the future, and I say

Damn where is my pizza. Uhhh, no wait of course it´s, FOLLOW ME!




Am I the right choice?

On the 5th of the month it will be your decision to assess this and decide:

- Do I have enough experience and am I able to move eGermany forward
- Will I be able to continue the legacy of Gobba and TGE

To give you a little help and of course to influence the decision, here is an overview on my positions in government:

- Congressman of Midtjylland, during the PTO (July 2009)
- Congressman of Bavaria (August 2009)
- Congressman of Saarland (September and October 2009)
- Minister of Finance (September and October 2009)
- Vice President (October 2009)

In the meanwhile, you can count me in as part of the midlife generation in eGermany and in contrary to older player, who need walkers, I´m still unused. During my time in the congress and the government I had the chance to experience a lot, no in some cases I HAD TO, especially with the brave congresswomen and -men and President against the PTU:



The responsibility and the confidence I enjoyed as Minister of Finance over 500.000 PTO-DEM was big. In the meantime the 500.000 DEM became gold reserves. These Reserves are now considerably higher than in comparison to the beginning of my term as the Finance Minister. In my time as Minister of Finance I fullfilled my duty of public relations and made sure that even the last whiner and nitpicker was able to play with the TGE's numbers. This won´t change when I become president, and from time to time some gossip about my ministers and what they are doing will appear in the media. While we're at nitpickers, a few times I had to stop TGE when he wanted to spend too much money again and with my best effort I made sure the money wasn't wasted. But he constantly asserted that he did nothing!



After I successfully managed the finances and accounting, and in particular after I created structure in the non-existent data collection and management of finances, I was promoted to the right hand of TGE . As Vice President, I participated in foreign affairs. My effort in PEACE in particular has intensified and started to socialize there, and I have taken on domestic political decisions.

Over the past eight weeks I learned a lot when it comes to government work. And I know that experienced people like that TGE will stay available with advice to help you.


Am I the right choice?

On the 5th of the month it will be your decision to assess this and decide:

- Am I be able to continue the legacy of Gobba and TGE.


Should we stop the effort now? Shall we live as if there is no tomorrow?

I say no, we can't act headless. We can't start to throw away the achievements of TGE and Gobba! I know the calls for more hospitals are everywhere, but I say

We need to stay focussed,
We need to act intelligently,
We need to be realistic,
We need to make further progress with caution and lead eGermany with a clear mind!




Economy

Money comes and goes,
Wars come and go,
Threats come and go.

But what remains is often a shambles. The expenses vary, they can be high, they can fall, but one thing is certain:

Money saved today is an investment in tomorrow!

The tax system currently allows us to bear all expenses and build reserves, but the admins created with the new MPP system a new threat for us small states, a threat to our very existence. We have a common problem with all nations in eRepublik, the economy is falling apart, slowly but surely. Some of them faster and others slower. The problem can't be resolved that easily and is caused due to a game design problem, which will hopefully be solved with the new economy module. Until then, we have to try to keep our economy stable!

Short Explanation: The expenses will be drastically reduced! My saving scheme and the new funding will be presented to the government!

Finances

The task of the Bundesbank remains to keep the DEM exchange rate stable and further the development of eGermany. A stable currency gives companies a planning foundation. It remains important to continue the existing accounting for the daily revenue (donations, taxes) and expenditures (budgets of individual ministries and infrastructure) and properly inform the people of eGermany transparently and give a planning foundation for the government.

The redesign of the tax system a month ago stabilized our revenue and hoisted it to a new level feasible to our needs! The task of the new government will be to reduce the spendings and realize an austerity policy in a way where the the higher costs for the MPPs can be paid. However it shouldn´t give sudden changes in the tax policy which may cause a sudden hole in our funding, as was tried by an individual person. The question that everyone should ask at this stage is:

Should we really try to go through the wall with the head?

Domestic

The task of the Federal Ministry of the Interior is to re-strenghten the public relations. It will be important to regularly inform the Bundestag what is happening, to keep the eGermans informed with management summaries and to share the political life. The exact new task areas will be worked out with the minister.

Community

After the retirements of Letnix and Ansis the Startersupport changed it´s name to Erste Hilfe and has to be continued and must design new guides, tutorials and support for eGerman babies.

We need every new eGerman! We have to think about a restructuring in this area!

Short Explanation: I could say more players! But the Starterinfrastructure is ALSO important and at the moment there are Aww Wait for it!? ideas in the Bundestag to implement a new Awwesome!! kick start system for beginners!


Defense

The Bundeswehr has undergone numerous changes under Rotfuchs. As for the development, we can be proud of it. However, there must be changes in the army in terms of mobility, reaction time and structure. It had been neglected along with the morale! To raise the morale of individual units again plans have been prepared and and the EKs can already look forward to it!

And do not worry there won´t be any wild mixing! We will need new recruits!

Short Explanation: new funding system similar to eInternational functioning systems, more operations, more structure, stronger bonds with other countries and within the unit!


Foreign Affairs

The relations with our friends are close, we owe Gobba, Elisa and Justin in particular. Elisa reformed the ambassadorship and her work was continued unprecedented by Myrilia. However, some embassies are not filled. There is also still a need in terms of recruiting eGermans as ambassadors. A new task for the ministry of foreign affairs will be to inform the public about other nations, PEACE, Eden and neutral countries, and to inform our citizen!

I already worked personally together with PEACE and had numerous very deep, interesting, challenging, highly entertaining conversations.
