The Dirtiest Word in eRepublik.....

It’s the dirtiest word in all of eRepublik. What is it? Here is a hint: It starts with the letter P. No... not that. Jeez, is that all you guys think about? The answer is.... Politics. I know a vast majority of people, particularly those in a MU, the military, or the average everyday citizen, are not particularly fond of politicians.

I have to be honest with you here though, politics is a necessary evil of not only in real life but also in eRepublik. Without politicians a lot of things in game would not get accomplished. Not all politicians are perfect for sure, but by and large most of them do their job well. Look on the bright side though, at least we don’t have to pay their salaries here on eRepublik. lol

I’ve played for a long time and no matter what era we have been in, there has always been a deep rooted dissatisfaction with the political process and politicians as a whole. Here’s the cool thing though, each one of you no matter how great or small gets to play a role in the political process. You can zone out and have people you dislike operate the government, or you can join a party and use your vote to drastically influence the process. When you do that, things can drastically change not only for yourself but for the nation as a whole.

Why am I saying all this? Well, it’s simple. Everyone hates that Ronald Gipper Reagan has a top 5 party in the eUSA. Guess what? That can change. If we had a pro-active and politically educated populace, he wouldn’t last a minute in the top 5. He can be gotten rid of, all you guys need to do is become informed and vote. Once The Gipper has taken a hike and we have an America that is politically aware, those Unity elections that everyone hates so much will also be gone.

Once he’s gone though, it can’t end there. You need to stay proactive in those parties you have joined. You need to vote not only for Party Presidents and Congress. You also need to vote in Primaries for your Party Presidents and primaries to pick your party’s candidate for the President of the United States. If you and those that think like you do that, you can become an unstoppable force and no one person will ever hold sway over the democratic process in this country again.



Everyone is looking for the answer and there it is. You have to vote. You have to get involved with a party. Once that is done Reagan will go and the Unity elections will end. Just twenty like minded people can sway the policy or elections within a party drastically if they take the time to be involved. If we can sway battles in this country with a few people fighting. Can’t we sway elections with more people voting?
