The Dawn of an Era

It was early this morning; I gazed upon the eastern sky and saw the Morning Star shone brightly. It was mesmerizing. Sitting in solitude, my face was caressed by pleasant chill breeze… somehow some of nostalgic moments in my life got refreshed frame by frame.

How I’d love to go back to the 80’s. It was an era of fun and party, the time when everything sprang and flourished the world. Be it in social, music or even politics.
It’s GLOBALIZATION at full scale.
I take music as the example; as music is a universal language so to say.
People of my age got root from the 60’s and the 70’s. We went through those years when we were young; and we could see that every cultures lead in their own ways. But when came the 80’s everybody declared their belief to the whole world… be it Rock and Roll, Reggae, New Wave, Punks, Ballads, Pop, disco etc… everybody shared the same stage and got mixed with each other. So diverse and so colourful.

Now that I’m awkwardly quite old to mix around playing online multiplayer games with you guys. Nevertheless, I choose to follow the transition of the era, play Cabal Online and Mo Siang with my kids; bonding us closer. Of course the gaming trend of today is way much more complicated and painstaking as to compare with pinball and Donkey Kong arcade of my heydays. Believe me, when the time my children become adult, they will find that I’m always way ahead of their time! No way I’ll be a ‘kolot’ (conservative) old folk.

Ah, now some of you choose not to follow the coming changes: The Rising !
Of course things won’t be the same as the old days, but that what is life is all about.
Don’t make excuses of current fast paced life; loads of burden; not enjoyable anymore… thus to show your protest you choose to commit suicide. That’s pathetic.

It’s a different matter if you are forced to quit, due to other important matters in RL.
But quitting as an act of psychological giving up is a negative attitude. Never!
A winner never quit; a quitter never wins.

Come on you guys.
Indeed some of the points are so true… V2 is bad that weak people better stay off!
When the going gets tough, only the tough gets going.
It’s a clear PROPAGANDA !!!
To shove off most of the strong players from the past, for a new force to be RISING to conquer your country… conquer the world!

Attention patriots, get back to your lines!
