"What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value."

For my months as an eRepublik citizen I have too often taken for granted the sovereignty of our nation and my home state of Ohio. It is very dear to me and I value it greatly and it is wonderful to have it back. Though we lost our infrastructure that selfless individuals amongst the early mayors of Ohio in Beta worked so hard for and donated large amounts of their personal funds to earn, we have not lost our pride in the great state of Ohio.

I am very proud to be once again running to represent my fellow Ohioans once again. Though I was very blessed to have the opportunity to serve Floridians, my heart has always lied with Ohio. Since my first position as an ePolitician I have been working for what is best for Ohio. Few remain who recall my service as the last mayor of Columbus but I have stuck it out through thick and thin to make it through 8 terms as a Congressman. I look forward to making that number 9, with your vote.

"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered."

As is synonymous with many campaigns this day I am willing to do what it takes to gain back the last regions of the eUS. The treaty with Portugal has shown us that treaties can be positive. Sadly, I don't think the battle with Russia and her allies is going to be that easy. I hope you will join me on the battlefield for a battle everyday, my service in the National Guard, Army, Marines and today, the Home Guard, has taught me the importance of following orders and I recommend you do the same each and every day.

The battle will continue to be an uphill one throughout the term of the 22nd U.S. Congress but I know it will be manageable. As a Congressman I will continue to support the efforts of all branches of the eUS military and strive to do what it takes to maintain the current level of funding for our military.

Despite the fact that no one can be sure when this war will end, I look forward to sharing that moment with you. The last months has taught us so much as nation and a glorious triumph awaits you and I. It will be my greatest honor to be serving you and my nation during such a triumph.
