This article was written short after the official declaration of the President of eHungary about the Ural, ready to give us, without compensation, this region.
This is a big step forwards, and changes our previous, very critic position about this war, to a more moderate criticism.
But some points remain the same:
The Government started this war for loyalty to PEACE and “our babies want a war”. Incredible, but true, this is the official explanation of the Ministry of Information.
I do not know how many babies want a war, but I am sure that few babies want eRussia to be destroyed, so let us consider the risks:
The eUSA can loose this war, yes, even with the help of the rest of FORTIS and of EDEN. This can happen. But they can also win. The USAs military strength is growing faster than ours, simply because they have more population fighting every day, and because they are richer and can afford to tank better. We are in danger of creating an American superpower with this invasion. We could perfectly loose, and the eUSA would ask for revenge, and find… who… on their way to eIndonesian WSR and Motherland?

Now, let us not be pessimistic. Say that we win and occupy the half of the country or more. Well, there will still be a lot of Americans playing the game. With a lot of money (RL USA has money). And you know how Americans are: proud and patriotic, most of them. Every time they look a map of the world and see their country occupied, a dagger of fire will cross their souls. We eRussians know well what is to be occupied, how it feels: it feels horrible.
So when, some day, they rise again… will they remember that eIndonesia gave us the gun? Will they remember that eHungary gave us a good present paying for the job? No: they will see their regions occupied and remember that we shot. And they will hate us.
And during this time and later… we will try to negotiate the recovery of our Motherland, of course. We are also patriots! We do not give a damn for California, we want our Siberia and our Caucasus. The West Siberian Region is the richest of the eWorld. Now consider: when the war is over, which kind of reason will have the Government of eIndonesia giving us this region? Force? “If you abandon PEACE, if you even try to split PEACE against us, we will let you alone against furious Americans and their Coalition of the Billing… or will even help them”.
These American regions will not enslave America. They will enslave us. To PEACE and to eIndonesia and eHungary, making impossible the recovery of our very own Motherland.
And now consider please the morality aspect: Yes, of course, eUSA helped to invade us and even destroy us! They did not conquer our regions but supported eRomania in the terrible destruction of our country. They must pay for this, and I am more proud of our victory in Alaska as about anything else in my whole e-life. We should conquer and keep Alaska! It was Russian in RL! It does not put eUSA in more political danger, and it gives us security for our Far Eastern region. And they will have to pay in cash for the recovery of any other region we conquer! And so, pay for what they have done to our country.
But… complete destruction? Even supposing that we can do that… should we do it? Should we humiliate and break the hearts of thousands of newbies who had nothing to do with past aggressions? only to satisfy a kind of megalomaniac, populist and fanatic patriotism?
Are we then, not better than them, the old aggressors? Does PEACE still mean a defensive alliance that will pursue peace in good faith? I thought ATLANTIS were the imperialists, the aggressors, the “George W. Bush” invaders. Then… are we as bad as them?
I think that big eRussian hearts can do better. They can be generous and honorable. They can end a war (of course in collaboration with our allies), ask for a good compensation, and retreat to Alaska.
And if we do not to it… if we continue with this, then it must be for our allies… and they must pay the dangerous, the huge bill: We ask from eIndonesia and eHungary a concrete day and concrete conditions for the recovery of our Motherland! For such a prize I am ready to fight until we reach the South Pole! But then, after the war, we can profit from our Motherland and concentrate on ONE front at least, and negotiate with the USA, and be free to choose what we do and when.
We want a free eRussia. Nor a slave of PEACE, nor an enemy of it. An ally, treated as you treat allies. You do not occupy them forever. They pay the bill, and you retreat. We should do this with our enemies, the more with our allies and friends. We already paid the bill to eIndonesia and eHungary, and the moment to tell concrete conditions and dates for the recovery of our Motherland is now. While we are at war. While we are still free to continue or stop if we like.

If Russia conquers USA, Russia will belong to Americans - they WILL win the political elections. You're already threatened by a political takeover (a few hundred Americans live in the occupied territories as Russian citizens).

History shows us that no empire lasted forever, even less aggressive ones. No matter how strong one (or more) is (are), the resistance (and hatred and wish for revenge) grow and one they it materializes. It might take weeks or months but eventually it falls and all the opressed raise with vengeance.
I'm Romanian, I play only for a few weeks but I read already what Romania did and how they eventually lost.

Here's a way you might find the truth if you are PEACE'S puppet's eRussia. Since you are already fighting us eAmericans and risking your own country's fate. Ask PEACE for all your country's regions back that PEACE is controlling.
If they refuse to give you your land back then you will know you are their guinea pigs. If they give all your regions back then you will know they were true to the eRussians and are real allies. They should not have a problem giving your land back if they are true friends and allies of eRussia.

eRussia and eUS will someday be allies, who is one of our closest allies right now? Canada. who was the first country America ever invaded and almost wiped off the map? Canada. You see that was a long long time ago, back when the current pop of eUS was the pop of the eWorld. I dont think it will take that long for this partnership to arise, a lot of Americans want a free Russia. Though if this war turns in our favor i cant promise we wont try to take a region from you in revenge : (
It takes a lot of courage and dignity to be the voice of reason when everyone else is screaming for blood. To say no, when everyone else is saying yes. You deserve respect for that.
As far as the Alaska thing goes, it was originally claimed by Russia, but was sold to the US around the time of the American Civil War. So I wouldn't say you'd have a huge amount of luck getting us to agree to give it up, temporarily or permanently. But who knows? I'm not in charge of things like that.
As for the other points you raise here, I can speak only for myself. I try to be reasonable and fair-minded in what I say and do, and while I don't always succeed, I still make the effort. So I can't truly blame you for your desire to see eAmerica pay for its previous actions.
However, a cautionary tale is in order. After WWI, France and other European countries sought to punish Germany for its actions in that war. They severed some of its territory, demilitarized other parts, forced them to pay reparations, and so on. Ultimately, that led to WWII - without that lever, a certain artist may never have been able to push himself into power.
So don't get carried away in your desire to seek retribution, to make us pay for the sins of our past. It isn't even a matter of whether it's fair or not fair, just or not just. It's a matter of your country's own self-interest, in doing what will be best for you later, rather than what is easiest now.
To quote Robert Frost, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference."

@Jamie: RL does not work exactly as in the game. Said this, I would never look for the eUSA to suffer something REMOTELY SIMILAR to the Treaty of Versailles in RL for the actions with eRomania.
