The conquered land was united for a few minutes...

Day 218, 10:11 Published in Sweden Sweden by TemplarPaladin

I, the mayor of Bremen, had a deal with the mayor of Munich. Both our provinces in former Germany would set the company tax to 50 SEK in order to revitalize both regions. It worked for a couple of minutes and a feeling of hope was growing among the settlers in the two almost dead regions. Soon, however, the mayor of Munich recieved a warning from FBS (his party, the leading party in Sweden) and bowed down in terror, the deal was over between our provinces. Democracy took another blow when the will of the people in Munich was crushed by the iron fist of the FBS.
What is the point in voting when the mayors can´t do whats best for their provinces?
There must be some incentive to move from the big cities to dying provinces like Bremen or Munich, relaxed taxes are one such incentive.

Moving companies cant sell their products in the current climate. When nobody have a reason to move they wont spend SEK on tickets. Politicans, whom I have spoken to, have this to say about moving: There is no reason to move to the countryside, everybody should stay put. I have this to say this about moving: Moving from the big city is good for the market and good for weak provinces.

I give my thanks to Kain, the mayor of Munich, for the courage he showed when he lowered the taxes for the good of the people. I also express my gratitude to Falkonetti who moved to Bremen with his company W-Flights. Do use his moving company when relocating to Bremen. Over here men are like Clint Eastwood and women are fair.

I have only one thing to say to the big rollers in FBS: Bremen will never bow down to your terror.
