The Congress Needs You!

Many Congressmembers are not registered in congress.

The eNorwegian congress is the heart of the eNorwegian government. It is thus unfortunate that so many congressmen are not participating actively in the debates there. It is every congressman’s right and duty to steer our beloved country in the correct direction. Convince others with your rightful arguments and create a better common will in our governing organs.

The congress is split into two parts; one part that everyone can see, and one part which only registered congressmembers are able to see (National Security). It is currently situated at http://www.erepublik.no/. Simply register at that forum.

In order to gain complete access to the eNorwegian congress, you must be a member of the ingame congress. Salve, Cikey, Forconin and inunova have moderator rights, thus they will be able to give you the appropriate access.

The current close votes on the tax reforms are a symptom of this lack of participation. No one has aired their opposition in congress, but ingame a large number of congressmembers opposed the bill. The “opposition” should speak their case before congress, and attempt to convince others! Or perhaps if the opposition participated in the congress, they too would have agreed on the bill.

I have made a shortlist of congressmembers that are not registered in congress. There might be representatives here that actually have registered in congress, as they might not have chosen the same name both places. Please feel free to correct me if I have put up someone that is registered.
