The Canadian Empire Party Official Platform (June-July)

It is now time for the Canadian Empire Party (CEP) to present to eCanada its platform for June-July.
Now you will ask us why we are that late, that it should have been posted a week ago. Well there is a simple explanation.
The Canadian Empire Party has done something maybe none of the other parties in eCanada have done before. The Canadian Empire Party has given voice to its members. It has given them the opportunity to show what they want, and they have traced the road the CEP will follow this month.
In fact, we have created a section in our Party forums for the Platform Discussion, and a thread for each topic, and all the Canadian Empire Party members were invited to tell us what they think about each issue.

I will now present you the Canadian Empire Party's platform, written not just by me, or the CEP Council, but by all the Canadian Empire Party members.

The Canadian Empire Party Official Platform (June-July)

Section I: Definitions

Canada: Canada is used to describe all territories under the jurisdiction of the Government of Canada. The term Canada and eCanada shall be deemed interchangeable within this document.

CEP: CEP is used to describe the Canadian Empire Party and its members. The term CEP and Canadian Empire Party shall be deemed interchangeable within this document,

President: The President is the head of Government within Canada. The term President and Prime Minister shall be deemed interchangeable within this document.

Congress: Congress is the elected regional representative body within Canada.

Admin: Admin is the controlling body within the game eRepublik. The term Admin and Administrator shall be deemed interchangeable within this document.

Canadian: A citizen of Canada as defined in Section IV of the eCanadian Constitution.

eCanadian Forum: The eCanadian Forum shall be the official eCanada forum. This forum, at time of writing, is located at http://ecanada.forumotion.com/

CEP Forum: The CEP Forum shall be the official Canadian Empire Party forum. This forum, at time of writing, is located at http://canadianempireparty.forumotion.net/

CA😨 CAD is the official Canadian Currency, the Canadian Dollar.

Section II: The CEP Platform

Part I: The Economy:

1.1 The CEP supports printing more CAD. We need to print more money. Our dollars value is much too high, we need to print a lot of money, and regularly, in order to keep the value down, allowing us to prevent foreign economic takeover, and also putting us in a position to become a greater exporting power.
1.1.1 CEP plans to drop our currency down to ~40CAD=1g, and this needs to be done very slowly and would likely take 2-4 months to see a stable dollar at that range as it would create a more hybrid (import/export) economy.

1.2 CEP doesn't see the need for major changes in the current tax scheme, apart from modifying the import on Grain and Food.
1.2.1 As the value of CAD changes we will have to be proactive in adjusting the Import taxes to sustain Canadian business, to do this effectively we would need a lot of Deputy finance ministers to keep up with other large economies and keep the Ministry of Finance (MoF) sane.

1.3 The CEP will propose trade embargoes with PEACE countries if needed, in case they are threatening the eCanadian economy.

1.4. The CEP will ask the great Canadian Entrepreneurs and Business Owners about their opinion on any Economic move we make, and this to avoid strikes, complaints, etc... and to assure the people are satisfied.

Part II: Foreign Affairs:

2.1 The CEP Government will continue working on establishing the New Alliance (Fortis). The current CEP Party President (Marcchelala) has been working on this issue with MoFAs of USA, Ireland, UK and Spain, and we will continue the negotiations until Fortis is officially founded.
2.1.1 The CEP Government will be dedicated to maintaining eCanada's position within Fortis
2.1.2 The Position of the CEP Government on PEACE is to Deny any proposal to Join.

2.2 The CEP will work on strengthening our relations with our Allies, and create ties with new nations. CEP will try to keep strong relations with the former ATLANTIS allies.
2.2.1 The CEP would like to see more Canadian ambassadors in foreign countries, to stay in contact with these countries, and discuss with them.

2.3 The CEP supports to motion to declare peace with France.

2.4 The CEP Government will support any Anti-Takeover motion in a Neutral Country asking for help, or an Ally.
2.4.1 The CEP Government will not support any Takeover motion, on any neutral country.

2.3 The CEP Government will accept MPP proposals with a Neutral country, reguardless if an attack seems imminanant or not, unless this MPP doesn't benefit eCanada.
2.3.1 The CEP supports having a great number of MPPs, to be protected in case of a PEACE invasion.

2.4 The CEP supports the creation of an Alliance Intel Sharing program in the future alliance, to grant CSIS access to foreign Intel, and guarantee a higher readiness level regarding to PTOs, TOs and Invasions.

Part III: The Military:

3.1 The CEP supports the continuance of the Irish Training war, as this allows the eCanadian citizens to rank up, while staying at home.

3.2. The Canadian Empire Party supports to continue stockpiling products for the rainy days, in case of an invasion.

3.3 The CEP supports to keep a strict watch on the Canadian Armed Forces soldiers, to make sure they are active and fulfilling their duties.
3.3.1 Inactive soldiers will be relieved from duty, to give the chance to other eCanadians to join the CAF.

3.4 The CEP supports the foundation of a CAF Elite Squad for top priority issues and missions.

Part IV: Healthcare

4.1 The CEP supports the expansion of the Canadian Health Service, and the revision of its budget, the cost of the gifts, etc...
4.1.1 The CEP also supports the creating of a house loaning program within the CHS.

4.2 The CEP will work on getting more Q5 Hospitals in the eCanadian regions, to grant all the eCanadian citizens the highest level of healthcare.
4.2.1 The CEP gives priority to getting a Q5 Hospital in eCanada's second most populated region: Quebec. CEP will of course support acquiring other Q5 Hospitals to other regions.

Part V: Immigration:

5.1 The CEP will try to get new citizens more involved in eRepublik, by creating tutorials, or FAQs, or step by step guides.
5.1.2 If needed, the new citizens message will be changed, depending on the demographic changes.

5.2 The CEP supports the re-opening of the Canadian University of eRepublik. The CEP thanks Clancy Forrest, Jt Vanguard and Halve for working on this issue, and gives them full support, to see the Canadian university of eRepublik opening its doors in the near future.

Part VI: The Supreme Court:

6.1 Currently the Supreme Court has no real purpose or defined role and whenever a case is brought before the Court it is thrown out before a trial has begun or the trial ends with a mistrial. The CEP will take steps to fix this.
6.1.1 The Supreme Court is being paralyzed because of the absence of a Criminal Code. The CEP will work on continuing the Criminal Code project started by Dominik, and hopes to have it ratified by the end of next month.

Part VII: Other:

7.1 The CEP sees that the eCanadian Constitution needs several changes and amendments. The CEP will work on amending the Constitution, or creating a new one if necessary, to fix the problems and deficiencies of the current one.

7.2 The CEP will also support ratifying acts to improve the Government Accountability, and the security. For example, the cabinet access list will be restricted to a smaller number of hands.

7.3 The Minister of Communication will be charged of releasing weekly updates on the Ministerial works. Each minister will have to present frequent updates on what he is doing, and how.

7.4 The CEP will work on promoting the french language in eCanada, and make all the official acts and statements available in both languages. In fact, the CEP Party President (Marcchelala) has very recently been chosen by the eRepublik Admin team to lead the team that will work on translating eRepublik to French.

Section III: Ratification:

This platform has been approved and ratified by the CEP Party President Marcchelala, the Vice-President Jbdivinus, the CEP Council and all the CEP Members.

To conclude, the CEP will work on making eCanada a better place, and place where all the eCanadians have a say. It will help make Canada more secure, more stable, and with a great influence in the New World. A vote for the CEP is a vote for the future. A vote for CEP, is a vote for Canada.
