The Bridge Between Old And New Africa

Day 883, 22:49 Published in South Africa South Africa by Esteban Delgado

I-ney, breddas and sistas of Zion,

The old Rasta Lion is asking the support of my friends and family, the people of South Africa, in my humble return to the political sphere. I want to take the time to outline my background briefly as well as explain my intentions, as I’m sure I’ve not had the pleasure to be acquainted with many of my Jah people.

Without writing up a useless politrickster autobiography, I’ll introduce myself as Esteban Delgado, the Rasta Lion. I’m one of the oldest South Africans in the game, having been born in Cape Town during the first Indonesia and South Africa War. After a few battles, in which South Africa had maybe a dozen citizens fighting tooth and nail, I, with my fellow breddas and sistas watched as Zion was overtaken by the forces of Babylon, which included my hometown in Western Cape.

It was this during this war of imperialistic proportions in which my loyalty to the country and life as a South African freedom fighter was born. Throughout my lifetime I have endured the multiple occupations of the Japs, Scrotes, Brazzies, and Argies to name a few.

Politically, I have helped found the Black Lion Front, which became the largest party in the country, known for representing the interests of all South Africans, not just a select group of constituents. It was with Black Lion Front leadership that the fight for freedom, sovereignty, self-rule, and hope for a better life in South Africa stayed alive. I have also helped form the South African Independence League (SAIL) which united all parties during several occupations and helped kick out the forces of Babylon out of Zion. I’ve served as the Mayor of Polokwane, a Congressman of Limpopo, and the President and Vice-President of the Independent South African Republic.

Since November 2008, I have taken a break from politics and have focused on a military career (partly because of RL problems). I’ve served in the eSAAF as a Paratrooper, the Azandicas, and have been a soldier in the Dignity Brigade since it was cofounded by several of my South African friends and family, with the objective of protecting South Africa and any other victims from imperialist forces.

I wish now to earn your approval and the chance to rejoin South African politics as a Congressman of Eastern Cape.

New Africa is the party that I feel best suits our goals as a nation in protecting our land and people. The social aspects of New Africa greatly resemble the pragmatist ideals the Black Lion Front was run with: giving all of the people of this great nation a voice, not just those who have already made a name for themselves but also those who have not yet had this opportunity. I feel with that as a veteran player with a new face in Zion, I may have a decent ability at representing and connecting both sides of South: the Old and the New.

Comments and private conversations are welcome and appreciated.

One Love.
