The Beginning

Hello my new countryman. I’m new to this game, and there are few more things for me to learn here.
In RL I am not from Estonia, but I visited your beautiful country once, and fell in love with it. So I decided to become Estonian, at least in this virtual life. I hope you will accept me as your own.
Some wonderful people sent me messages with explanation of game mechanics, and are still helping me to find my rhythm here, and my place in this community.

The beginning. How many of you remember yours? I find it a little harder than in most of other games I played so far. For example, I don’t understand why are there gray areas on the world map? Wouldn’t it be better if all countries of the world were implemented? I’m sure many people would like to be a president of Mongolia or Nigeria or some other country that doesn’t exist in eRepublik.
Second, I have a problem with economy here. I have no money, but I’ve got some gold when I reached certain level. The only thing I could do with it is open this blog. I can’t exchange it for money, nor use it directly to by stuff from marketplace…

Nah I do not want to make this first addressing to the world too long, so I will stop now. I also don’t want to sound disappointed with the game. I just voiced some things that confuse me for now.
