The Battle - A Tutorial
Gaidal Cain
Another congress election coming up and instead of posting some useless article calling for votes or paying for them, I decided to get myself out there in a more productive way. I have noticed that quite a few people are asking about the current battle system and with the upcoming Canadian 2 front war coming, I believe the smarter the soldier, the better the soldier. You might be new or just haven't caught up with all the recent changes, so here is all you need to know.
Winning the Campaign
A country that is the first to get 83 points will win the campaign. Points are received by winning each battle in different divisions. Point allocation is described below.
Winning the Battle
The country that accumulates 1800 domination points wins. Domination points are given every minute to the country that currently has above 50% control as shown on the bar. Different amount of domination points is given based on the battle timer, as show below. Based on this, a battle will last anywhere from 1:30 - 2 hours. As you can also see final half hour is key, a country can still win by losing the first 1:29 hour but just holding the last 31 minutes.
* 0-30 minutes into the battle, 10 points
* 31-60 minutes into the battle, 20 points
* 61-90 minutes into the battle; 30 points
* 91-120 minutes into the battle, 60 points
Divisions
Divisions are a new concept in eRepublik, and rather a rare good update. It allows the younger players to play a pretty important part of a campaign.
There are 4 divisions, and are based on players level
- Division 1 - Level 1 - 24
- Division 2 - Level 25 - 29
- Division 3 - Level 30 - 36
- Division 4 - Level 37+
Points
As I said above a country needs 83 points to win a campaign, and receives them upon winning a Battle. We get 1 point for winning Division 1, 2 points for Division 2, 3 points for Division 3 and 5 points for Division 4. Not many countries are strong in all categories, and even if you have the best tanks and win Division 4 all the time you still will lose the campaign.
Campaign Details
At any point of the battle you can click on Campaign Details to see the progress of other divisions. It allows you to see current domination points, and if you move your cursor to the division you can see the current % of controls. You can also view the campaign history, by seeing which country won which division battles and how many points they received from each. Lastly it also lets you estimate how long another division’s battle might last if yours is already over.
Battle Statistics
Located at the bottom right of a battle, is pretty important if you want to go for Battle Hero or Campaign Hero. You can view the top 5 damage dealers for any battle or in the overall campaign.
Military Units
You should try to join a military unit. Canada has a few, with CAF being the official army with no political agenda. Usually on joining a unit, you will get some extra supplies and then do more damage fighting for our country. Plus you get free bazooka & power bar for finishing daily orders.
Don't think I missed much, if something pops in my head I will include in the next article. Planning to release another one tomorrow focused on WAR and how it works, with some interesting tricks you might not know about but which cost countries campaigns and loss of initiative.
So Good Luck and Good Night Canada

Thank's for all those details, it will help everyone.
Good overview, Gaidal.
Thanks you, this greatly helps me! 😁
The only thing u left out is the advantage to joining a MU and compleating the Daily Order.
A MU posts a important battle to fight in, if u get 25 kills in said battle u will receive a Bazoka weapon and a 100 health point candy bar that can be used at any time.
good point Crock, edited the doc
