The Balance of Power: Asia, Oceania and Africa

Day 1,474, 18:53 Published in Australia Australia by Tyler96

This article was written to provide a quick insight into the positions held by the alliance structures throughout the continents of Asia/Ocean and Africa.

EDEN/Terra- The EDEN/Terra coalition has China, Israel, Bulgaria (via occupied Russian regions) and Russia as member states in Asia. To add to this, India, Australia, Cyprus, the Philippines and the Republic of China (Taiwan) are affiliates by way of MPPs, or, in the case of India, a trial member.

ONE- In the same theatre, ONE has only a single proper member in Indonesia, but is supported by Iran, Turkey, New Zealand, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and Thailand.

Other- Japan, which holds 3 EDEN/EDEN affiliates as MPPs, but is also allied with the ONE-aligned United Kingdom; Malaysia is split between 5-ONE and 2-EDEN/Terra; and Singapore is split 2-EDEN/Terra with 1-ONE aligned nation. Saudi Arabia is currently ally-less whilst Egypt is allied solely with Ireland.

As is the case throughout the world, ONE currently holds the advantage in this sector, with Turkey occupying Israel in its entirety, with Indonesia also holding a Philippine region and several Australian regions, but many of these are being returned. China is the only EDEN/Terra nation currently occupying hostile territory, but this comes in the small and insignificant satellites of South Korea and Pakistan.

Wars- Currently the major wars in this area is the Indonesia invasion of South Africa, this war has seen KwaZulu Natal (8-2), Mpumalanga (8-1), Gauteng, Free State and Limpopo (all 8-0) have fallen since the war began on the 28th of November. Gauteng is currently under a resistance attempt, but Indonesia leads 3-2.

In the Middle East, Cyprus has recently overrun much of Egypt, and fended off a few resistance wars, whilst Iran is currently engaged in the United Arab Emirates, with a battle in Fujairah. North Korea has, with Chinese permission, successfully regained several of her regions, as has Australia by way of an agreement with Indonesia.
