Hello all AIM members and supporters of Australian independence.
First of all, I would like to say thank you very much for electing me as party president. I am very grateful for your support and I know that together we can make a difference.
Like I said in my pre-election article, the AIM will help provide supplies such as moving tickets and weapons to any Australian around the Erepublik world, so that when this independence war is started, Australians can move back here to fight. However, it turns out, and some of you might have known this, that donations to political parties can only be used for paying taxes; in fact, even changing the party details comes out of my pocket (not that I mind at all).
Because of this, I will soon probably set up an SO to gather funds and supplies for the war. However, I am waiting to find out if there is already one in place that the AIM can use.
I also changed the economical orientation of the party from centre-right to far-right. This is because from what I have seen in forums, Australians want a free market with no government interference when Australia becomes independent.
Once again, thank you for electing me and I will soon let you know what is happening about war funds.

Added Notes: If you would like to donate and help Australian independence, please donate to the National Bank of Australia (NBA) rather than the AIM.
Also, I'm still getting my political spectrum right and so we will change back to centre-right. I'm sorry that the election was done alphabetically, it should have a better system.

I was rejecting them as I wanted to get a better knowledge of who people are, but I think I have a good enough idea now, so if you would like to be friends, please message me. Also, your election was a sham! Alphabetically is the worst way to win.I should've won 8-6! But I've attributed that to karma as I shouldn't have contested Capink's rightful leadership. Next election I'm gonna get the 7 or 8 votes I can gather from friends and put it towards Capink.

mateo2 and Paul Depor, I didn't see any activity under your leadership. I have read ICE's forum entries and active newspaper. People are commenting and talking and are interested again because of ICE.

Hahahaha! Don't make me laugh! Where have people been talking about all this more since ICE became party leader? He's been in the position for less than a day! If anything, it's the introduction of V1 that has increased people's interests. Saying it is the doing of ICE of both stupid and naïve.
lol @ joe farmer, i doubt u were even in the party when i was leader, if you were then you obviously weren't paying close attention. and btw depor has never been party president, strange he didnt win the elections yet he was oldest member in the tie.
@ Mateo2: The only reason your getting so fired up now is because you realise how pissed off you made all the party members with your half-assed, don't do anything, someone else will attitude when you were party president.

ICE, I've forgotten about it. But I would like to reinforce how lucky you were. 2 people who were going to vote for me couldn't because of some gay error in the V1 version. You won because of an error. I can only hope all the glitches are cleared up in time for the next election so that you won't get voted back in. Although, with a bit of luck we'll be our own country and there's no way zaney and his buddies are going to let you be leader.
@ Paul Depor. I'm sorry that you didn't win, I wasn't able to vote for myself either. But I don't think I should have to give up being party president because you didn't actually get more votes than me. I can't help it if it's a dodgy system that the Admin have used for the elections, and it definitely needs to be fixed, but according to the system I won it. I understand I was lucky and I certainly don't take this for granted.
What annoys me more than the bugs in the system is the lack of unity of party has. I am annoyed that we are always arguing about who should be president, because it then makes it difficult for the president to do anything. Because of this, if you want, I am willing to have a re-election held in the Australian forums, between you and me. If you win, then I will resign. However, I believe that the Australian Independence Movement is not just for Australians in Indonesia, it is for Australians all around Erepublik. Because of this, my condition for a re-election is that it is held in the Australian forums so that all Australians can vote on it.
So if you want a re-election, by these terms, then please message me and I will set it up.
@ all Australians: I'm sorry that the AIM cannot solve our internal arguing.
Lets put our differences behind, and focus on the most important thing, the independence of eAustralia.

Attempting to grab the moral high ground I see, ICE? No, I do not want a revote in the eAustralia forum. It would be more legitimate to defeat you in Erepublik, not some external forum. Also, it would not be entirely fair as not all the members of the eAustralia Party are members of the forum. Therefore it would not be democratic.
You know how to change that Paul. Try signing up to them and getting all members to do so:

Raxo is totally right. Zaney is the leader of the resistance, not me and not the AIM. Whilst our party is helping, it is not the driving force nor a very important part of this resistance. I am trying to help keep Australian informed about what is happening, though at the moment things are going very slowly. Nevertheless, things will start to travel very fast soon.
Paul, make up your mind. We both know that any active person that would vote in the party elections is also a active member of the Australian forums. What do you want? You complain and tell me my leadership is illegitimate, then when I offer you the chance to challenge it, you decline. If what you want is for me to give it to you, then too bad.
