The Article That Must Be Written

Day 2,118, 21:45 Published in Australia New Zealand by Marcos Arolia

(This article is based on my own personal observations. None of my current positions have influenced these decisions. TL😉R Stop expecting others to act; everyone that is able should and must act.)

I had copy/pasted an article with the few laws that have been passed and dismissed thus far as the Senate Speaker should do. As I collected the meagre sample, I could not help but glance at the eRepublik map and notice the obvious.

We are wiped again.

We certainly did better this time, of that nobody can doubt or refute. However, we have returned to a very familiar position that has been our national history. Of course, the difference is eNZ has joined us in this situation for the sake of fun.

That is the genesis of this article.

Allow me to ask this very important question: What is our purpose?

Those that say "Free Australia from Indo" speak the obvious, but then why do we not do the things that are needed to make that reality?

We lack military power.

We lack the use of the battle orders.

We lack leadership.

We lack weapon supplies.

We lack numbers.

From Brennan Shields' most recent article, he reveals some of the problems. I would like to add one:

There is no real vision.

The current national vision is to free ourselves from Indo domination, but many actions on all levels taken are clearly counterproductive or are taken without the required preparedness to make it successful. If we truely wish to be free, there is one obvious thing that needs to be done to make that reality.

Does it even need to be said?

Speaking of freedom is meaningless if we lack the manpower necessary to defend and maintain our borders. Almost nothing else matters. We may defend ourselves in the here and now, but it is irrelevant if we can't maintain any success. The alliance helped us; now we must help ourselves.

What can you do?

Be involved as much as you can. Bring in as many new citizens as you can. Do not expect others to do everything. Contribute however you can.

If there is no leadership, then the void must be filled by others. If there is no numbers, then numbers must be brought. Military power arrives with the numbers. Doing this helps you, me and the country. There are those that will say I am speaking too simply, that what I am saying has no merit. I say to them, "Doing something and failing is better than doing nothing at all."

To paraphrase and use a Yank saying,

BABYBOOM OR BUST
