The aircraft series chapter 1

Day 3,360, 08:13 Published in India India by Visor Of Blades

After seeing the response on my first aricle, I think I can safely say that it was a success for a first article. Thank you all for making that happen.

I am planning to release the next few articles as a series highlighting the aircraft division

I will make this article about the need for us to have a strong airforce.

Several reasons come to mind -

First, obviously, is that it's worth 22 points, or a little over 23% of the total points we need to win the campaign. Also, the fact that every 4th battle is an air battle, that means even if the enemy blanks us on the score sheet, we will still have at least 2 air battles. That's nearly 47%.

Second, all divisions fight in it together. This is actually more advantageous than it sounds. Think about it - we have experienced fighters from D4 fighting alongside fighters of D1, who can learn so much from the experience of the seniors. This can and will have an impact on the land battles as well.

The third reason I see is more psychological, and it will affect people differently based on how they think. As you've likely noticed, we have separate leader-boards for the aircraft division, complete with it's own decorations and medals. Now, since both experienced and inexperienced alike will hit about as much, depending on airman raking, the ones less involved in fighting on land now have a nearly equal chance of gaining these decorations and medals. This would get them more involved, as they now see a more level playing field.

That's my top three, as far as I see. In my coming articles, I will try to explain each of them one by one. In my next article, I will explain the first reason mentioned here, regarding the wight it holds on the actual campaign itself.
