Thank You ISRP
Michael Holcomb
Holcomb Campaign Headquarters:
Returning to his campaign headquarters the next morning Michael Holcomb returns to accept the Party Presidency of the Irish Socialist Republican Party.
Friends and Party Members,
When I went to bed last night, I had lost the election. But getting up this morning, I discovered I had won. I am so thrilled to have this opportunity to lead the ISRP. First and foremost I would like to thank my opponent, in the end this election was decided by a single vote. My first action as President of the Party is to ask my opponent, Kiemar, to serve as Chief of Staff of the Party. So close to a Congressional election, I want someone like Kiemar to be close by and serve the Party.
Furthermore, I'd like to thank all those who voted in the election, regardless of their choice of candidate. I want to urge all of you to stay active in the Party. In the next few days and weeks this Party will have a chance to make a serious run not only for seats in the Dail, but for the office of Taoiseach next month.
We have done great things, and we will continue to do great things. So now, we must begin to work, because we have great things to do in the future. And together, we will see our great work done.
Thank You

Best of luck with new leadership, but I won't be taking part in it. Every election I've seen in Ireland had some machination with it, but its gone too far this time. Three parties (ISRP, IUP, and FF) had strong candidates who everyone thought would win, and all of them lost by one vote at the very end of the day.
I don't think any of the victors were using multis, I think someone outside of these three parties moved people into them in order to vote for the opponent and weaken the parties. It has happened before, and frankly I'm fed up with it.
I'm starting over again in Germany and I don't see myself returning any time soon. I know Inquitus and Igor are probably just as angry as I am and I hope whoever is responsible realizes that when you mess with elections to weaken opponents, you only weaken the nation as a whole.
Well that's a pity Kiemar. I certainly don't believe that Michael was involved in the irregularities, but it seems obvious that someone has decided to interfere with our fair and equal elections, giving three underdogs 11th hour victories. I wish that I had stayed online until the elections finished so I could have seen who was jumping into the party to affect the results but I didn't imagine that someone would be so dedicated as to wait until the last moment when the elections were apparently decided to taint the results.
Well Sean, before I left that night there were 22 members in the party. When I woke up there were 30 members.
and 35 total votes were cast
Well this isn't enough information to come to a solid conclusion, but I went looking for suspicious members of the party. I'm sure this guy, Eisen, wasn't a member earlier, but is today. Nearly all of his friends are Spaniards. I also can't remember if stuga mc has been a member for some time either. He's unemployed and most of his friends are Portuguese. I've messaged the company that Eisen works for to ask when he joined the company.
The more I read, the more it seems like:
a)Michael cheated or
b)someone wanted to make him seem bad or the ISRP to fall apart
this is all a bit much isn't it... don't get upset over echeating
I don't think Michael cheated.
