Thank You eCanada!

Day 2,026, 03:30 Published in Canada Canada by Homer J Simpson

The last three months has been one hell of a ride and I'd like to thank eCanada for giving me the opportunity. We didn't achieve what we set out to but it certainly wasn't through a lack of trying.

Now it's time for a different approach and I wish Oinyo the best of luck for the upcoming month. Love or hate the hairy little f*%ker, don't lose sight that this is a game and would be batshit boring if everyone did the same thing and thought along the same lines. Pay Oinyo the same courtesy you paid me and support his plans. If the plan fails, it should be because it was the wrong plan, not because people made it fail.

There is a tradition in eCanada that some CPs follow and some don't, a tradition of rewarding those who have shown outstanding service to the nation during the CP's term in office. As there is no up to date list of Order of Canada recipients, and I couldn't be bothered trudging back through old articles and forums posts, I have decided, in the true tradition of the Military Dictatorship Party, to issue a new award.......The Homers!

So, without further ado......

The Golden Homer
For exemplary service to the community

Eric Last

An absolute champion of a bloke and a true gentleman. Eric was the backbone of my first two terms and probably the greatest MoD eCan has seen. It's a travesty that he doesn't have a CP medal in his collection as he definitely deserves one and would be up there with the best.
Eric has also dropped a staggering 1.7 billion damage for eCan since the True Patriot medal was created.

The Silver Homer
For going above and beyond

Dozzer

The controversial man of the moment. Dozzer, contrary to popular belief among the CW crowd, has put in some solid yards in the Foreign Affairs portfolio over multiple months and was unlucky not to pick up a CP medal this month.

Crisfire

Crisfire has been an important member of the eCan community for a long time. While his up front style makes some uneasy no one can question his commitment to the nation.

Uncle Buck

Buck showed potential when he was added as a dMoD in my second term. He more than met that potential when, in the last term, he was promoted to fill the position vacated by Eric Last.

IBB

Another long term cabinet member who has put in a great effort over the last few months

Ralph Kline

What is there to say about Ralph? He is a Canadian legend, always there to help and never looking for accolades.

Fritzhill

How could I forget this eCanadian legend. From the same mould as Ralph.

Venerable

Along with Dozzer, put in the hard yards to keep eCan running during difficult times during the previous administration.

Decode Masala

Decode is another silent hero of eCanada and well deserving of recognition.

Shoi12

Shoi's knowledge of foreign affairs is unmatched

Goran Thrax

Goran "Space Pope" Thrax has been a voice of reason and common sense in eCanada for a long time now and, like those above, never seeks the limelight. Goran is also the commander of arguably eCan's most efficient MU, Captains of Industry.

DMV3

DMV3 has helped greatly with repairing the relationship between eCan and the eUS as well as serving in my cabinet as a trusted adviser over the last couple of months.

The Sgt Homer
For military service

Military Units

A special shout out to all MU's, both Canadian and foreign, who have put in for eCanada over the last three months. I greatly appreciate the support you have all shown.

Asgard

A big shout out to all at Asgard. You guys rock and I have really enjoyed my time in HQ.

The Flaming Moe
For trolling above and beyond

Quimbie Muffins

Maximus Decimus.Meridius (aka. Lord Beorn, aka. whatever he chooses to call his latest account)

I know there are many more who should probably be in this list but I had to draw the line somewhere.

Anyway, thanks again eCanada for the last three months. I'll be taking a well earned vacation in the eUS for a while so I'll see you on the battlefield.
