Thank South Africa - Lets make it happen

Oh no – again I have to use my newspaper to write something serious. This president thing is really affecting my way of life *fights his way past 6 secret service men, put there by Rico Suave to protect the new president, on the way to his desk from the bathroom* I’ll include a joke at the end to brighten everyone’s day.
Where was I, oh yes. Thank you.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported me in this election campaign. A special word of thanks to Compmage and all the rest of the Free Africa party members for their support it could not have been done without you. I am grateful for this opportunity to serve you and my Country. I consider it an honour and am humbled by your confidence in me. I believe in South Africa. I believe that South Africans can make our country greater And I believe that we can do this – together.
Many of you , who don’t know me, are wondering if I will take the country down some dark and stupid path. Well, relax, I believe in a consultative approach to leadership. Obviously someone must make the final decision, and I am prepared to take the responsibility and do that. But If we are to make this great South Africa even better we all need to work together. The country will only be strong if we put our differences aside and cooperate. I hope to appoint a cabinet that reflects the wider views of South Africa and I hope Ican count on all of you.
As I said in my campaign speech “I think what most South Africans really want is to see our whole country liberated.” For this reason this will be my number one priority as president. Now I do realize that this may not happen overnight but if we do not keep this goal foremost in our thinking we will get distracted and not achieve what most of us really desire – a free South Africa.
My first order of business will be to announce a new cabinet. This will take place in the next two days. I also plan to restructure the government with more accountability so that ministers who are not performing may be asked to improve or relinquish their position. I believe it is the president’s role to make sure that government serves the people adequately and responsibly. The government is not here to be served by the people but to serve them. We live up to the expectations of those who have placed us in these positions of responsibility.
I wish to encourage all South Africans to take part in the forum. http://z13.invisionfree.com/eSouthAfrica/index.php? For those of you who are newer to the game, I believe that one of the reasons that I was elected was because of he forum and my party’s forum despite the fact that many of my fellow candidates have been taking part in eRepublik longer than I. These forums provide you with a wonderful opportunity to accomplish your dreams in eRepublik.
Thank you once again for the opportunity to serve this great nation.
Yours, for freedom

President
Ps. A rich millionaire throws a massive party for his 50th birthday. During this party, he grabs the microphone and announces to his guests that down in the garden of his mansion he has a swimming pool with two great white sharks in it. "will give anything of mine to the man who swims across that pool."
So the party continues with no events in the pool until SUDDENLY, there is a great splash and all the guests of the party run to the pool to see what has happened.
In the pool a man is swimming as hard as he can and fins come out of the water and jaws are snapping and this guy just keeps on going. The sharks are gaining on him and this guy reaches the end and gets out of the pool, tired and soaked. The millionaire grabs the microphone and says, "I am a man of my word. Anything of mine I will give: my Ferraris, my house, absolutely anything, for you are the bravest man I have ever seen. So sir what will it be?" The guy grabs the microphone and says, "Why don't we start with the name of the jerk who pushed me in!"

I hope you make the right decisions as commander and chief, and, that you make sure you only take us down a path of future fulfillment for months to come.
congratulations dear sir, oh, and good luck.
Great ! welldone!!!!!!! 😁)
Congrats, Browski. I'm sure you'll do well! It was a good election, clean and respectful, and I look forward to the next month.
Congratulations!
Congrats Browski.
I would like to hear what your plans our for getting our land back from the Japs. Since your campaign was run on this being your top priority, I'm sure you must have some sort plan of action you are prepared to implement.
Are we talking about getting our land back through war or negotiations? If it is the former, we have a long way to go before we are prepared to fight the Jap empire. If it is the latter, I'd like to know exactly what you plan to give to the Japs in return for our stolen lands.
I don't mean to seem disrespectful or confrontational, but these are legitimate concerns especially when you consider the collaborationist acts of our old Scrote leaders and the brutality and inhumanity we refugees from the occupied lands suffered during the first several weeks of the Jap invasion and occupation.

Weird, the serve bug made stuff repetitive.
No kidding
LULZ @ Jizzie
Hahahahahahaha... *tries to stop laughing, fails*
Thanks all
@Jizzie - nice stuter
We are not yet in a position to go to war and this will only be as a last resort - most things can be accomplished through negotiantions. We will start intelegence gatering and a set up task force to plan how we best may accomplish this vital mission. Befor we even attempt negotiantions we must be prepared. This will not hapen overnight. I too am living as a refugee and as promised this is our number one priority but we will not put SA at risk to acomplish this.
CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE ITALIANS PARTY FOR SA!
I applaud your motives and support your caution in the matter, but I still think we should be careful about pursuing negotiations. For one thing, the Indos are barely trustworthy, but that is not really the issue. Negotiation involves compromise and a give and take. Unfortunately we have nothing to give, nor would we want to give anything to the Japs in return for what they have taken. Therefore, I am afraid that any kind of negotiations with a far more powerful eIndonesia will only result in failure, as they will insist on concessions that we cannot and will not accept.
This leaves war as the only real option if we are to achieve our goal of a united and free eSouth Africa. We all agree that we are not ready to take on the Japs militarily or diplomatically (no strong assurances of allied aid), so your efforts would probably best serve eSA if you focused on building up our strength, population and infrastructure (both civilian and military). I know that that is probably more than any one president can do, but that does not mean we can't begin the process under your administration. This would be a far better use of your time as president than wasting it on pursuing inevitably fruitless negotiations.
In a way, I can't help but think that even meeting with the Japs would justify and recognize their occupation and domination of eSouth Africa, and I just hate to give them that pleasure. The last thing I want to hear is that our president has gone to the Emperor of eIndonesia on his knees and with cap in hand begging for the return of our rightful lands and assets (remember, they also stole something like 6,000 ZAR from our treasury).
Nobody's noticed the afro wig I'm wearing in honor of President Browski. It's not as full and colorful as his, but I'm thinking we can bring back the man-fro made popular in the last few seasons of "The Brady Bunch."
hei hei hei 🙂. about your movement PLEASE talk to our gov, like aussie did. diplomations our best way 🙂 ..
If "Diplomations" have worked so well for eAustralia, how come the map still shows them under complete Indo occupation? Do you think we are so naive to believe that Indonesia will give back all the land and money they stole from us through negotiations alone? We are not stupid and we will not give concessions for what is rightfully ours, nor will we accept the return of our land for symbolic semi-autonomy or at the cost of becoming an Indonesian puppet. We are not calling for war with eIndonesia, but we also know better than to believe Jap lies and disingenuous "goodwill" laced with ulterior motives.
If your people are willing to give back what is ours with nothing in return except for our forgiveness for the crimes your country committed in our country and our friendship, then "diplomations" are indeed our best option. If however, eIndonesia will only return our land and assets if we give them something of equal or greater value, than I say forget it.
