One of the many faces of PQ. Some claim this is his true visage: morose and vengeful, yet oddly painterly.

Former President of the e-Galactic Federation J'onn Efkin h'Niddy once held a dinner at the White Star House to honor all of the Nobel Laureates in the known Galaxy. His toast was: "I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White Star House, with the possible exception of when Phoenix Quinn dined here alone."

eGF President h'Niddy. PQ used his image as an avatar for a while.

His old friend Bill Galaxia once described Phoenix Quinn -- who is universally referred to as "PQ" -- in the following way: "He is as neat a built man as ever was seen. A straight-up man. Long face. High nose. He is like a fine horse: he has no surplus flesh and his countenance is always mild and pleasant."

Bill Galaxia lasted about a month in eRep before getting bored out his mind. Nevertheless, he keeps up with PQ's adventures and occasionally even writes an article for 'Roar of the Lion'.

And despite what Bill G says, a reliable legend has it that PQ is not a man at all, but actually an ostrich who has learned to pass as a man.

This much is certain: a philosopher and a scientist, a naturalist and a historian, a monk and warrior, a revolutionary and an entrepreneur, PQ is a player of the e-Enlightenment, always looking forward, consumed by the quest for e-knowledge. Among the greatest players who have ever lived, this modest e-Renaissance figure is formidable without seeming overbearing, sparkling without being showy, and winning without appearing cloying.

His foes and enemies, the vast majority of whom are, sadly, enslaved by the RGR Entity's alien mind-beams, claim that PQ is an atheist and a fanatic, a demagogue and a dreamer, a womanly Francophile with 'Greek' tendencies who cannot be trusted with the governance of a great nation. Hah. Well. Umm...

Anyway.

And then there are still others who claim PQ is actually a squirrel who has the bad habit of occasionally binging on vastly too much caffeine, then starting to type...

Although there appears to be some evidence for this claim -- PQ sported this 'grinning rodent' avatar for a long time -- it just sounds too stupid to actually be true.

But enough of all of that gossip. We are starting to lose the thread here...

We The People is an awesome party. Phoenix Quinn is an awesome player. What more do you need? Vote for WTP on the 25th!!!

Well, in case you have any doubts, the following testimonials should be more than sufficient evidence for why you should Vote We The People! and thereby Vote Phoenix Quinn! for Congress.

======================== TESTIMONIALS =============================

PQ character check

"The public or political character of the Socialist Freedom Party members corresponds with the private one: they are haughty and jealous of their liberties, impatient of restraint and can scarcely bear the thought of being controlled by any superior power." -- A. Crocadyle, an English traveler who surreptitiously visited the eUSA several times over the past few years

An early (and rejected) logo proposed by PQ for the SFP Bear Cavalry, PQ also suggested that the militia's slogan accompanying this graphic should be "The Bears Hate the Police". He's mellowed out since then.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed immaturity. Nothing is required for this enlightenment except freedom; and the freedom in question is the least harmful of all, namely, the freedom to use reason publicly in all matters". -- I. Kant, from his article "What is Englightement". Published early in V1, it evidently had a big influence on PQ's Early Thought.

"Before meeting PQ, our minds were circumscribed within narrow limits by an habitual belief that it was our duty to be subordinate to authority." -- Al B. Marle, an early member of the SFP

Al B. Marle, who was also known as 'Agent 42' and 'Operative Me'

"When I wasn't sure whether or not to ask [elided to protect privacy] to go out with me, PQ told me: 'Under the law of e-nature, all players are born free and everyone comes into the New World with the right to his or her own person which includes the liberty of moving and using it at their own will.'" -- S. Melmoth, an "out and about" member of the UIP

"The American comrades, particularly the self-proclaimed 'just-a-revolutionary' P. Quinn, were under the conviction of the necessity of arousing their people from the lethargy into which they had fallen." -- from the Secret Meeting Notes of the 3rd Conference of 5th eInternationale

"The bells rang all day and almost all night. Even the chimers chimed away." -- J. Adamson, describing the raucous reaction on Bear Mountain to the first time PQ was elected PP of the SFP

Note: J. Adamson is PQ's lifelong frenemy. Nobody is quite sure if they hate each other's guts or sleep together. Maybe both.

"When I confronted him about his conciliatory attitudes towards religious traditions, PQ told me: 'Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.' But when I asked him if that meant that e-governments should support religious institutions he shouted 'No! Never! It is error that needs the support of governments. Faith can stand by itself.'" -- O. Ramon, legendary revolutionary leader and organizer, one of PQ's greatest mentors

Comandante Osmany Ramon, may his e-Thought live forever

"I once asked PQ 'What are the concerns of governing?' and he said, 'They are always the same: foreign treaties, civil arrangements, the establishment of arsenals and posts, defending territory, indigenous affairs and money.'" -- Uncivil Anarchy, who is Civil Anarchy's evil twin sister

"PQ, the PP of the SFP, is a most ingeneous naturist and philospher, a truly scientific and learned man, and in every way excellent, for a commie." -- J. Mahurin, a famous anarcho-primativist

^ Yet another of PQ's sexy avatars, used during his "grumpy black man" phase back when he edited WHPR for the first Glove administration.

"M. Quinn is full of honor and sincerity and loves the working people greatly, but he is too philosophic and tranquil to hate or love any nation unless it is for the interests of the poorest of the poor players to do so." -- The e-Chevalier de la Luzerne, a French Quackumist delegate to the 4th-and-Half eInternationale, during a debate over the stand that far-leftist parties should take towards nationalist wars

============================ IN HIS OWN WORDS ==============================

"To preserve the freedom of the human mind then and freedom of the press, every spirit should be ready to devote itself to martyrdom; for as long as we may think as we will, and speak as we think, the condition of man will proceed in improvement." -- PQ, condemning the "reign of witches", whom he claimed were being organized by J. Adamson (during the Scrabman Administration) to quash the free expression of dissent in the eUSA

And other people say he is actually an elephant...
