In the second of this series (which I hope to continue weekly) I'd like to ask you your thoughts on government spending. As you can see, I listened to your opinions on taxes last week and in response I proposed lowering the food tax, which was approved yesterday.
But with lowered taxes comes lowered income, and that means the eUSA needs to go on a strict budget. So what do you think we SHOULD spend money on? Hospitals? Defense Systems? Wars? Government run industries?
I don't want to become part of a cabal that thinks it knows better than the people who elected them, which is why I want to talk to you. So please - tell me your thoughts!

Cut government spending a bit for a while, then we can continue on with CTPA taxes. Just a Kentuckian's opinion, not that it means shit here.

Huck, the latest economic reports coming in from people like One Eye and Jewiit show that the eUS government has been spending far too much on constructions. 80% of the budget, to be exact.

Now that taxes are lower I think the government should tighten it's belt and stop spending our money as if they had ulimited money.

With the war module up and the treasury still not back to where we want it, passing every proposed construction is foolish.

I don't think anyone is speaking out against reducing the overall amount of government spending on construction.
As to what the government *should* be spending on...hm. I suppose an overall net reduction in government spending, with a shift away from construction purchases and towards Military spending. I wish I could get the opinions of some Military higher-ups as to how exactly that should be organized and doled out.
Also, could someone give me a bit more of an in-depth description of the set-up concerning government provided weapons?
Well Hari im the Lt. General of the Army. Im not sure of General Sym's or General Cole's plans but I do believe for now the Army is focusing solely upon communication.
