If you take a look at the news today, you will see that the articles in the top five have a ridiculus number of votes. Now, sometimes this is a good thing, because real people have voted it, and commented in the comment section below, and it means more people will see the article, and if that article contains something of importance it's even better, but it means that new articles, that might only have a couple of subs, and reach only fifteen or sixteen votes will never have a chance to be more recognised as a quality paper. This used to be a problem that could be solved by using citizen adds, and shouts, but now, with citizen adds gone, and 30 shouts a day, shouting an article will do almost nothing, as everyone else will just shout over it. The only way now to get into the top 5, is to org vote it up. The only way left to get people to vote is to spam IRC channels, and I have tried this. I got three votes and one sub, from a channel with over 120 people. This shows that the only way is org voting, which I will not do, to get an article against it into the top 5.

I know few will stand with me on this, and I doubt that this article will breach even the Top 10 articles, but it is still worth a try.

This change must be made. And it must be made now.
