Sweden Plans to Attack Germany!

It is with great distress, that Germany asks for any aid or support that can be provided.


The president of Sweden, Kalle Holm, has announced earlier in an election campaign article his intention to invade and conquer Germany.

"I say we deny Germany membership [in Atlantis]. I say we show our dissatisfaction of their great betrayal on january 10th. I say that we shall once again raise our battle axe and let the germans taste the swedish wrath. I say we declare war.

A war makes the game worth playing again, it gives Sweden and all its players a purpose. It provides us with entertainment and a goal. A broken and humiliated Germany can raise Sweden into the skies once again. War against Germany is the way back to the swedish empires great glory! We shall once more rock this game, Sweden!

You vote for me I guarantee that we will declare war on Germany and that we may once again play this game the way it was meant to be played!"

Germany takes this to mean nothing less than a declaration of war by Sweden upon Germany.
We are shocked and disgusted by this senseless aggression. Especially from an ally!

What makes this even more insulting, is that Sweden already agreed to Germany's membership in Atlantis. This approval came with a condition - gold compensation for the construction of the Q5 defense system in Schleswig-Holstein (a German territory bordering Sweden). We just made a payment of 80gold on it the other day, and plans are being worked on to pay off the rest of the debt (Germany is not a wealthy country, so we will need some patience).
It was evidently a mistake that our president at that time, Isy, did not sign a contract with them. However, Sweden's refusal to agree to Germany's membership in atlantis is a direct violation of this agreement, while it might not enforceable, this is an ethical failure for Sweden, and adds even more to the injustice to this senseless agression.

Germany calls upon all Atlantis nations to vote in favor of Germany becoming an active member of the alliance, and to provide military aid if Sweden dares to attack. Not only is this a violation of our sovereignty, and the alliances between Atlantis nations, it threatens the whole alliance and gives PEACE additional leverage.

Don't let Sweden destroy Atlantis and all it stands for. Sweden is a bored child causing destruction for amusement.

Germany humbly requests that Sweden be put back in it's place.

-Vote in favor of Germany becoming an "active member" of Atlantis
-Contact other Atlantis members and make sure they vote in favor of Germany.
-Petition Sweden to stop, or condemn their actions
-Promise military aid (especially if we are denied active membership in Atlantis).
