But jeuxvideo.com alone is not even close to a sufficient reason by itself. Doing some math shows that it would be quite a site indeed - from experience, getting even 0.5% of the readers to join would be a major feat. That would require 1.2M readers, which isn't too hard yet, but when you start considering that even 0.5% is quite a lot - it's one reader out of 200, a lot more than it sounds like - the number gets absurd.

I'm not saying it's impossible, though. It's just... a bit improbable. 🙂

Just 250 comments on that article in jeuxvideo. Most of the comments is probably from already registrered players. Besides, how many of those 6000 "new" players speak english? Not many...
