The funding cap case came before the Court for the purpose of setting a trial date. Congress has passed a statute affecting this case. The prosecutor has delivered superb argument and submissions commenting on the effect of the Act. The judges are deliberating whether any trial date should be set or if the matter is effectively over.

As previously reported, a player was banned by the forum and irc administrators as a consequence of behavior in court and out of court which raises the possibility that he falsified enormous amounts of evidence. The Court has been in contact with the Admins to determine if the player can receive a limited mask for the purpose of appearing before the Court, purging his behavior and suggesting an appropriate penalty.

I suspect that the judges will soon be releasing final reasons in the rolo sentencing. It is hoped all will be completed by day’s end.

Ecanada is presently in the final phase of changing its constitution. The last step is voting by party presidents. Three of the top five party presidents have voted in favour of the new constitution. This is sufficient for passage if the votes hold. The new constitution will free the Court from some obstacles to judicial reform and the judges are eager to effect some wholesale changes which should make the court more efficient and reflect the community’s desire for quick, fair, common sense resolution of disputes.
