Support the People that Support You.

Would like to point out some great work by private citizens and recommend you contact them and support their endeavors.
AusEAid – A privately funded charity service that helps new players or player struggling with not only wellness but also with directing them to where they can get information. Please support them by donating any spare food or money you have laying around.
The Smith Family – A privately funded charity service that helps new players with food. Please support them by donating any spare food or money you have laying around.
Dishmcds – A citizen who is developing a Training Program for newbie’s at an affordable price. Very innovative and I am very impressed with the concept. Needs people to message him to fill up his classes and provide feedback on the program.
Derek Apollyon - Font of knowledge and is very helpful to all that come in contact with him. One of the people that work in the background to the benefit of all. If your interested in the technology side or eRep I highly recommend a chat with him.
Eureka Holdings – Run now by maverick Goh – Organization was put together as a training ground for new GM’s and sponsored by the private sector. All money goes back into the company and into wellness program for Eureka Holdings employees. I recommend this as a place to work if you’re starting out in erep.
EastPac – A new Org that I have invested in with Parsilan and will be mentoring him to follow the same Concept of Eureka Holdings. We are buying companies in WA in preparation for the return in a few months.
Private Donations– A org I set up to collect money from private citzens to go towards hospitals , defense systems etc which are important to eAustralia's long term future.

De Ja Vu? 😛
Whats with the constant spam from this newspaper?
I mean.. youv'e made like 10 articles in 24 hours and all it does it boot the decent articles off the page.
For the love of Australia, you need to stop.
Nice to hear from you two again. This article is to let people know of useful info. It had lots of votes last time so published it again for new players
New players may not always check the news section of Erepublik. I know I didn't until a couple of weeks down the track 🙂
ye well it needs to stop stewie, give every1 a fair go. TBH the whole title itself is rude to everybody else. What do the rest of us do? Would you like it if I repeated my Manifesto every 2 hours for the newbs that join?
Broad Not sure what do you do apart from stalking my articles? And the fact that many people PM me from the articles askign for advice why would I stop at only your request?
A very important part of the definition of SPAM is:
"Any message posted to newsgroups that is not relevant to the group."
These articles are very relevant to eRepublic, thus this is not SPAM. This is only part of a lengthy definition, a definition of which all parts must be fulfilled to be considered SPAM.
I have yet to hear of "The Smith Family,"Dishmcds,"EastPac," or "Private Donations" and I keep up on the news pretty well.
@ Pred
There are going to be dozens of articles a day with the upcoming election. Each time Stew has decent information to convey other than "vote for me because I will work hard for you."
It's too bad that some players only see the game their way. This article has a lot of new and innovative people and groups working to better eAus.
It looks like groups like "AusEAid" or the "eAustralian Private Wellness Program" and the "Private Donations" program could basically completely replace Centrelink and cost the tax payers ZERO dollars.
Please read all of the article everyone. There are some very important things here and a potential cost savings of $30,000 AUD (our tax money) a month here by discontinuing Centrelink.
Good article and very informative. VOTED

i like the concepts presented here.
I reckon its pretty handy having the articles. Ive been playing for a couple months now and I still learn stuff from them. Keep it up I say 😃
""Broad Not sure what do you do apart from stalking my articles""
Dont Feel Special m8, 😉 I have time for everybodies articles.
""And the fact that many people PM me from the articles askign for advice why would I stop at only your request? ""
Dont use "And" as a start for a sentence. 😛 Idc about people messaging u, the point is their are peoples articles up there for the first time trying to be public and u spam like 10 articles + in a week pushing them off, most of the time for your own selfgain. As I said b4, I might aswell repost my manifesto since it got voted so well?
Some good information, but i do in part agree with Pred on this one.
While i'm sure repetitive mail could be used as a clever strategy to deny political opponent's opinions reaching the people, i'm sure Stewart has not done so deliberately with that in mind.
Slow news days it's probably less of a concern, but when so many people are trying to get their political propaganda out to the masses it's possibly fairer to slow down on the mail outs 😉
What i would suggest is a dedicated forum page for Noobs, where anybody can post tips, hints, links - and Q&A's for noobs.
Then ALL political minded souls could just link that forum page to their news articles.
@Able - Thanks for the comments. Will slow down the articles.
@All - Can we now get the comments back to supporting the groups like AusEaid who do great work? and stop the conspiracy theories. 🙂
"anyone on IRC"
If you ask for help there someone will always be there to provide, usually free of charge
Speaking as a newbie, I don't mind to see stuff like this. I've noticed a real wave of people joining in the last week b/c i think the ad for this has hit facebook or something. I think it's good to get an idea of who is who in a nice easy way. We haven't all got the time to spend hours on IRC to catch up. It's like missing the first 4 episodes of "Lost" and trying to catch back up again! LOL! @ the end of the day we are all eaussies and need to work together.
"I have yet to hear of "The Smith Family,"Dishmcds,"EastPac," or "Private Donations" and I keep up on the news pretty well."
My program provides training and mentorship to young citizens, which also includes a two week supplement of food (at some of the lowest prices in the World) so they can build their skill, teaches them to build their wellness, and become productive all at once. Many can say they train, but I run a discounted food program with classes/lessons that many could not provide.
Stewart has been very open about training young citizens on Erepublik, in a completely unbiased manner, and I for one applaud him for it.
And I love Media Spam. how the hell else do you communicate more effectively in Erepublik? 😉
@ Dish
Agreed.
Keep up the good work. 🙂

Support the People that Support You is important.
But when I was a newbie I remember seeing something with:
"Training Program for newbie’s at an affordable price",
and thought,
"Stuff that, I'm not paying for info I can pick up later."
and if you are new-ish and need help to begin fighting and healing, how are they to find where to go for help?
Thanks for advertisement Stew and I appreciate the support. For those who don't know 'The Smith Family' has over the past couple of weeks been contacting new citizens on the day of their birth to provide food and guidance so as to keep our nation thriving. For those who don't mind the spam 😛 you may want to check out

As a newbie as well, i agree with petergladwell - its good to see these things!
I got help from AusEaid without contacting them or even knowing they existed, as well as a friendly albeit brief conversation.
Definitely good work and some time in the future I'll repay their help a few times over.
Your support is appreciated StewartB, without people getting the message out there we can't be as effective as we need to be. It's sad you got caught up in all the electioneering media, but I'm glad you posted 🙂
