OK, we've all criticised Plato and the way the game is going over the last several months, and will no doubt continue to do that over the next several, but credit where credit's due, the National Shield competition has been one of his better ideas and has been good for Ireland.



As a nation, we just failed to win the bronze medal, but it was a phenomenal effort from all Irish fighters and gained the country 1900 gold. On a personal level, my target initially was 200%, which I expected to make quite comfortably. As it was, I scraped to 500% and another yummy damage booster and I didn't spend any cash to do it (sorry, Plato!).



Better still, not only did we finish fourth and win a level 7 Defence Shield, whatever that does, but we beat the UK too (as well as most of TWO).

All in all, it's been a fun week and very profitable for the country, so well done Plato (something that isn't said a lot).
