Alright children, uncle Princefigs was sitting back and thinking today about this 50% off companies deal, the crisis in the country, and the new health rules when an idea struck me.
Being that one of the major problems that we are all experiencing is a shortage of weapons and food....why not do some GOOD with the massive taxes collected from us all? Why not start a program that will help solve that problem and make people happy?
I know, I know, government programs that solve a real problem and make people happy sounds like fairy-tale. In general, it is. But this time, children, grab your magical wand and fairy dust because Uncle Princefigs has the solution:
GOVERNMENT GRANTS
I can hear them now....the Multi fgts, Fake Marines (not necessarily the eUSMC), and Ian Von Douchebags of the game , " But Princefigs, (insert troll here) this will never work because (insert negativity here). (insert closing insult here)
Children, fret not, Uncle Princefigs is here to explain how this would work:
Considering that the admin have given us the ability to update/buy companies for half the normal cost of gold, we should take advantage of this by helping people buy new weapon and food companies.
A new weapon and food factory costs 10 gold right now. Land still costs 1,000 USD a piece.
Therefore, I propose that the government hands out 2,000 USD and 10 gold to all eligible eUSA citizens as quickly as possible. This would allow that person to build one additional food and weapons factory immediately. This would allow people to fight that otherwise cant due to having no food fights remaining.
1 new food company produces 120 Q1 food. Each Q1 food restores 240 health. Which equals 24 more hits. If the average hit is 1,000 influence on average, then we have effectively increased our influence per day of that one person by 24,000.
Using those numbers, if we supplied 100 people with these grants, then we have increased our daily influence by 2.4 million at a cost of a minor cost of 200,000 USD and 2,000 Gold.
If we supplied 500 people like that, then we increase our influence by 12 million a day.
Alternatively, we could take advantage of the half off upgrades option that admin gave us and supply people gold to upgrade their existing companies! We would end up granting people 10 gold and 1,000 USD to start a new company......OR.......10 GOLD period to upgrade an existing company. Which is better? That deserves a more detailed analyst. However, the idea is relevant either way.
Before the comment section gets ate up by negativity and trolling, let me show you, in three easy steps :
1 : Create or name a body to run the program (people with a good sense of judgement that are not clouded by bigotry or personal issues - A good choice would be someone like Hadrain X. A bad choice would be Pfeiffer.
2 : Create a standard of what type of player may receive grants (i.e. Current levels, strength, activity level....etc etc)
3 : Get the money and gold out to people fast as hell.
And thats it. No need to drown it in bureaucracy.
TO SUM IT ALL UP
Pros :
-We ease the food and weapons burden that we are facing nationally
-We increase the daily damage that we deliver as a country
-People rank up faster and thus increase their damage faster (thanks MaxKing)
-People see the government do something beneficial
-Other good stuff
Cons :
-More Spanish, Indo, Not so "Hung"arian, and other dead bodies on our soil
-Prices for food and weapons would likely recede some while RM prices may increase.
-Um.....?

Can they afford the raw materials?
Weapons companies are worthless until they are Q5, so just give 5g and 1k USD. It would cost the gov't less and we could give the companies to nearly twice as many people.

Princefigs I'd like to add an extra benefit you missed.
More food and weapons for these players would mean they gain more rank more points which means they rank up faster too, which will accumulate and will do even more damage as there level of ranking up begins to increase.
I think that building a new factory still costs 10 gold. The offer has to do only with upgrading one I think.

polyplektis is correct. Making a new company is the same price (10 gold). Only upgrades are half off.
2000 gold is a lot of money for the gov't.
a problem with this would be that people who would need another factory to produce food and or weapons would not have all that much strength to begin with. it would be the low hitters who dont produce that much influence. so really u make it sound alot more ideal then it truly is. i can see maybe a government loan that only will be givin out to dedicated players that can pay them back at a certain point with little if no interest. because to just drowned money into people that might get bored of the game any ways would be a rather lame idea.

problem: most people who do 1k damage are already supplying themselves enough to food fight all their fights out. Just increase funding to arm America so they can give everyone all the tanks and food they need.

Princefigs, this all makes sense except for the fact that I'm pretty sure only upgrades are half priced. I think building a new factory is still 10.
Excellent idea! The government can at least subsidize players with 10 G to upgrade their weapons company to Q2 and get the 100 HP (10-30 food fights daily).
Or, subsidize with just USD players so they can then build raw material companies. That should be equivalent to "burning" currency - land cannot be sold or destroyed, RM companies can't be sold... I'm not sure what happens if one tries to dissolve a USD-bought RM company though, I'm guessing he can get half the USD, but unless one gets a full refund, building a RM company is a very good option to destroy currency and stimulate production at the same time.
On the other hand, such an action would cause RM prices to drop. Will the rise in value of USD be sufficient to compensate for that?
If anything, all we'd do is subsidize the purchase and WAM of Q4 RM companies.
