Steven Bosch & Nickerball: All you need to know

Day 1,566, 21:57 Published in South Africa South Africa by Steven Bosch

We are in the final hours before we go to vote for the Presidential elections.
And I would like to thank Mr Wet and Seisan for what has been a great campaign. If anything, there has already been activity and whoever wins, we need to take this forward and keep this energy.

To make a last appeal:

A vote for Steven Bosch is a vote for experience.
I have been in various positions in this country over the past few years, from security, to foreign affairs, to speaker, to normal guy two-or-three-or-x-clicking while watching from the side.
I was there in times of PTO, some successful, others thwarted. I've seen mountains of bureaucracy, been strangled in red tape, and I still strive for simplification - less bullshit.

A vote for Steven Bosch is a vote to grow the country from the bottom up
Activity is key to success in eSouth Africa. without active young citizens, our population is dwindling. We need a strong co-ordinated mentorship programme, paired with a ministry of education to explain things such as why Brazil is occupying part of the country and why we are not fighting them to get these regions back.
We also need to pair this mentorship programme with a new player programme.
Part of this requires that we look at our military units that help serve in nurturing young players (firstly our own eSAAF and thereafter to give incentives to independent MU's).
Young players should also be encouraged to serve as interns in cabinet to learn the ropes.

A Vote for Steven Bosch is a vote for activity and fun
It is crucial that we revitalize the established community by incentivizing activity via community programmes. Domestic affairs need to be supported to help keep the spark in our community.

A Vote for Steven Bosch is a vote for Transparency, Accountability and Information
To a certain extent we have created an over-reliance of our forums. It is great to discuss and debate issues on a closed platform, but I believe we need to ensure that players are kept up to date on what is happening in the game itself.
I believe that regular updates need to be given as to the actions and decisions made in cabinet in order to ensure that people know what is going on.
An informed populace also tend to be more active.
Nickerball, as my VP, will also ensure that cabinet departments are in constant communication with the executive so that we are able to ensure that the ministries receive the necessary support to function.
Oh and lastly, we're going to need to do something about the wiki O.O

A Vote for Steven Bosch is a vote for better Foreign Affairs
Our Foreign Affairs are currently uncoordinated with little activity.
In our MPP-strategy we will continue to aim towards Eden/Terra, but we cannot aim to join Eden if we are not building on our image as a vibrant active community.
We need to work at telling the world where our strengths lie (technically we're going to build them too).
Lastly, within the context of security, we need to work at an immigration programme to draw active, positive people to South Africa, starting with e😜ats, in order to strengthen our active numbers and economy. This may require a look at our economic policy and looking at possibilities of other forms of incentives for contributing businesses.

A Vote for Steven Bosch is a vote for security
As we are always under threat of PTO, due to our size, it remains a priority to ensure that immigration be monitored effectively, while checking on new-borns for multi activity.

As you can see from the abovementioned, I would like to get more activity. If you'd like to be part of my cabinet or want to contribute in any other way, please send me a PM or contact me on IRC.

I'd like to hear from you what you'd like to do to help eSouth Africa grow.

Regards
