About 6 months ago, when I first became a member of the USWP, I remember joining for specific reasons. I found early on, that for the most part, the members of the USWP were friendly, helpful, and very active. Between the Zombie Horde and the Honor Corp, I was receiving at least one PM per day, telling me about the activities taking place within the party. I felt relevant, informed, and part of the team.



There was a period in my young life where I felt the need to move on away from the USWP. I felt like there was certain members of the leadership that had their own agenda, based on personal gain. After a few weeks of separation with the party, I was asked to return, as a member of the Executive Board, under Stanley Ibcus. There was a lot of controversy and unexpected things that took place when Stanley won the PP elections. Although Stanley’s tenure as PP and a member of the USWP was brief, I stayed where I committed to serving.

For about three months, I served as the Director of Member Services of the USWP. During that time, I helped re-energize the efforts of the USWP, directly overseeing, and working to improve the Zombies, The Honor Corp, and a mentoring program that I implemented, the My Buddy Program.

Due to being appointed as the General of the eUSAF Army and the responsibilities that role would bring, I made the decision to step down as Director of Member Services, and focus solely on the leadership of the Army.

Over the last three months, I have been an active member of the USWP, contributing to many successful elections.



I believe that the members of the USWP deserve more. The USWP used to pride itself in its outreach programs. The USWP was known as a party that helped new players get involved in politics and grow as a member of the eUS. Instead, the leadership of the USWP has focused solely on what is publicly visible, such as the elections. While things may seem to be great from the outside looking in, things are not always what they seem. I have seen a massive decrease in forum activity, not only from members of the party, but also from the leadership of the party. This cannot be acceptable.



Members of the United States Workers Party, I, Stephen Goldsmith, vow to bring positive changes. I will work to re-energize and rebuild what I believe the USWP was, and is capable of. This party has many great, dedicated members. It is time to give back to the members and the citizens of the eUS.



Yes, the party has been very successful as a whole, consistently placing more members in Congress than any other party, and also consistently placing CP hopefuls in the Whitehouse. But why stop there? You deserve more, and I will bring you more.



Let me key on a few of my goals as President of the USWP...

- To recharge and improve the Member Services programs, such as the Honor Corp
- To work closer with other top 5 parties. I seek class and professionalism.
- To continue to successfully place candidates in congress and in the Whitehouse
- To reach out to, and assist young and new eUS citizens
- To focus on growth and retention
- To bring back the excitement and pride of the USWP
- To bring Transparency to the Leadership of the USWP and the eUS

I became a player and eUS citizen of erep on Day 1261, or May 4th, 2011. I am currently 190 days old. I have earned 5 hard worker medals, and 8 super soldier medals in my elife. I have also earned a Battle Hero medal with just over 2000 strength. At just 21 days old, I was elected to Congress.

Not only have I served this nation and this party in many in-game capacities, I have also helped to organize, streamline, and automate many things within the Army and Boot Camp Branches of the eUSAF.

I created our current, nearly fully automated roster system, which includes automated soldier promotions and personalized soldier portals for every member of the Army or Boot Camp. It also has an IRC bot, RosterBOT, that allows for administrative actions, qm duties, requests, and roll calls directly from IRC. This has proved to be an essential tool to the officers and soldiers of the Army and Boot Camp branches.



I bring to you leadership qualities and experience, technical skills and management expertise. I work well with others, and look to build a team that has the best interest of the members of the party at all times. The USWP will remain the #1 party in the eUS, and we will be known as a party that puts their members first.
