Today we will be talking about the decline of eUSA and how I think we may have 1 individual who has played a very large part in this!
The person I will be highlighting today has done something that I view could very well have killed many young citizens drive to play the game, or be a productive member of society. This person has been a citizen of erepublik since 2014, that's 7 years, in that time he has won 33,335 Battle Hero medals at the time of me writing this. Wow what a number, this person much truly be a hard hitting tank. Someone who by this point in his military career he is risen through the divisions and playing against players his own size, and to acquire that number who could it be?
Gnilraps??? the person I've seen blamed for so much here. No not him, he's only got just over 10,000 BH's. Well here let me give you a hint. They're the Commander of the largest and most productive military unit in eUSA, that's right.

This player has been a member of this country for a long time, much longer than I. So let me ask you a question, why am I competing against him for medals? Why myself a player who has been here a single month, am I competing against someone who has over 220k strength. Someone who could hang with some of the largest accounts in the country. Look at EVERY OTHER individual captain or above in his military unit fights in Division 4, but he does not. Let me show you the numbers to really highlight his crimes against this country!
The numbers speak for themselves this is Division 1 damage from this week, he won last week the week before that and so forth I'm sure. He is putting out over 33 billion damage than anyone else in the division hell the top 10 people behind him isn't even 100 million. So think about how many battle hero medals he has stolen from the young citizens of this world! Why even try to compete with something like that?

Ubuntu you have committed crimes against your countrymen and I think it's time you answer for them! Years you have done this I'm sure, and unless stopped you will continue to steal gold and medals from the young citizens of this country!!

This is what the infantry kit does. It stops you from gaining EXP. He owns D1, Shadoj and others are the dominant D2 chars. It's how the admin allows the game to be played. When you get to D4 I've actually found it much easier to get medals there. With the new changes to scripts/bots this might not be as big of an issue for you however.
I understand the function of the kit, what I do not understand is why you all have allowed this to become the norm.

The sad thing is this might be him posting here -- ie, he's playing a gnilkrap sockpuppet game. So what might -- we have no way of knowing for sure -- be happening here is ubuntu is using gnilkrap's account to praise and defend ubuntu. That's also "the way the game is played." At least by some people.

CG makes a super valid point. Ubuntu has been in the executive various times and is the CO of one of the best MU's in the game. He actually helps noobs and will help you reach your goals (whatever they may be). He is a very reasonable guy.
There are not a lot of players in D1 that can continually make sure the walls are in the right place... he is one of them.

"he has stolen from the young citizens" - I'm active in D4 but I usually keep an eye on those who farm in D1-D3 (speaking of that, curious how "you" only target him). I haven't seen him do that, that is, steal. He is usually first, if not, the only hitter. Unlike many of our enemies and allies alike, who really steal (that is, come in the last tens of seconds or so and snap the prize).

It's literally what Plato intended when he created the pack. Your problem is with Plato, not with players utilizing a feature implemented by Plato. He's not manipulating the system, he's not cheating, he's not doing anything wrong. He's playing as Plato allows it to be played. This isn't even a gray area of not enforcing the ToS (like bots). This is straight-up how the game was built.

FWIW, I agree with you. The Mav pack is insanely stupid, but it has made a LOT of money for Plato and he will not get rid of it.
