Status in Israel

Day 575, 11:36 Published in USA USA by livingabroad

If few noticed the impeachment of Israel's President earlier Gzen sure did. The runner-up in last month's elections won only 26% of the vote against the now impeached President Sadeh Badeh. Sadeh Badeh was a member of the Israel Workers Party who own 83% of Congress. Gzen is a member of The Likud Party who own a dismal 5% of Congress. The rest is made up by the Kadima Party who didn't officially support anybody in the Presidential Election. You may wonder then how Gzen managed to take control of the Presidential Seat, is something wrong with Israel?

It's important to know, that's for sure. Israel is allied with the United States against Ireland, and they are both co-allies with Croatia against Hungary. They are one of our stronger allies and we should care what happens there. So why was Sadeh Badeh impeached? No new evidence came to light, as a matter of fact, he resigned. He resigned!

How do you resign in eRepublik, well technically you can't. Sources inside Israel's Congress say he had Real Life issues, some talk about enlistment in the Israeli Army. Ghen is "ecstatic" and "can't wait to work with Buzzy and the citizens of Israel". Though you may not call it your typical way to become President, he'll take it.

Good luck to you Ghen from all here at The Wayward Remembrance, (so it's just me), and listen to your citizens.

Sadeh Badeh's farewell article.
