State of the union speech

Good Evening Israel,

I come to you this evening with great pride and joy in my heart. In a little more than fourteen hours from now, the great and proud country of Israel shall once again be whole. This is a first step into having a strong and sovereign nation, one that is completely united in territory. While this is in deed a joyous occasion, there are things to worry about, things that need to be done, and thanks to be given.

First I would like to thank on behalf of Israel the United States for granting us the greatest gift anyone can give, our freedom. However the US was not alone in this most noble of deeds. My gratitude also goes out to our friends in Canada and Croatia who gave hours of their lives and goodness only knows how much gold to liberate Israel fully. Israel remembers her friends, and you have cemented a place in the hearts of every true Israeli. I would also like to thank any other country who might have helped, but slipped by my attention. There are only so many hours in the day, and even from the comfort of my computer chair, I could not watch every second of the battles.

Also before we get into a more somber mood I would like to wish our brothers and sisters of Greece all the luck in the world. Every nation who desires freedom should have the opportunity to be free. From the ashes of Israel and Greece shall arise two glorious countries who have never sought to harm anyone. These two countries shall embark hand and hand in friendship, into an unknown future. Together we shall strive not to create empires, not to dominate and impose our will on others, but simply to play the game in peace.

Now, let us move onto that more somber mood I alluded to earlier. We have much work ahead of us as I write this my friends. Now is the time to build strong relationships with every country in the world. Be it PEACE, former ATLANTIS, or historically neutral nations. Israel shall hold a hand out to any friendly nation in the world. Israel shall turn away no nation who wishes friendship with us.

Now is also the time to build a strong and thriving economy on the foundation of freedom and the working spirit that has given birth to our nation. We shall strive to open domestic manufacturing and construction companies that provide fair wages to the people and sell products for reasonable prices on the world market. We shall speak with resource rich nations of the world and have reasonably priced raw materials on our markets. We shall provide our citizens with reasonable income tax and not punish them with over bearing VAT taxes. In this mission, we shall succeed.

As I write to you tonight Israel the state of our union is strong, our will unwavering and our determination solid. Tonight, our country shall once again be united under the white and blue flag of love and peace.
