State of the Press: 2nd Edition

Day 1,135, 20:04 Published in USA USA by PrincessVictoria

My fellow Americans,

I have felt the need to post another State of the Press to keep you as a reader informed of the health and progress of The Royal Tribune. As of the time I pen this article, my future articles are very uncertain. It may be my block influencing this in part but I feel like my creative streak is leading me in a different direction as a journalist.

I want to bring my subscribers something more than a trite article about the upcoming POTUS elections. I feel I could put my talents to better use in the interests of my readers but I’m baffled as to how. I thought I’d have had a chance at doing something for the country that might give me inspiration if I gained Hawaii’s seat in Congress. Alas, I fell two votes short after tapping into my creative energies for that last article of mine. I’m going to try for another seat in Congress but I’m uncertain as to whether I will stay in Hawaii or will make my way to another state.

Party Perspectives has been discontinued. I am very displeased with the lack of response from five party presidents at the time. It made me just a bit angry that someone would brush aside my request for the completion of a brief questionnaire without so much as a PM explaining why it could not be completed. Let me make this clear: If I message you on behalf of The Royal Tribune, I expect you to do as I ask or at least tell me why you won’t because it is the courteous thing to do.

However, I do see The Royal Tribune having a bright future and encourage you to look forward to the next article.

Till next time, my dear readers…
