Dear citizens of London,

I am hereby writing to you with the intention of detailing the reasons why you should vote for me in the Congress Elections, on the 25th.


What makes me a good Congressman?

I am an active politician of the United Kingdom. I have spent many hundreds of hours debating and voting in the House of Commons, working on proposals of my own and other peoples to try and better the United Kingdom.

I use the UK Forums, (http://forums.erepublik.co.uk), on a daily, more often than not, hourly basis. Why is this important? It's important because any legislation that is passed in-game is passed between the House of Commons and the House of Lords before hand, both houses picking every such proposal to pieces to ensure that any proposal is the best it can be.


Who am I?

I am Squiddy. 5 time Congressman, 3 time Party Leader of The Unity Party and 3 time Minister of Foreign Affairs.

This alone puts me well ahead of 90% of all other Congress Candidates, not just in experience but in dedication to this great country as well.


What I will not do

I'm not going to write about things I have no control over, (well, in my Congressman form at least), I'm not going to sit here and promise you that certain proposals are passed. I'm not going to sit here and promise you all a Q5 Hospital/Defence System and I'm not going to promise you that I will magically fix all our problems.

What I can and will promise you is a fully qualified, very active and dedicated Congressman to represent the constituency of London.

Never before has this phrase applied to anything more than politics; if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. So when you are reading other Congressman's manifesto's that promise you the world, think twice about what they are actually saying, be smart and use your vote for the betterment of London.
