Firstly, welcome to our new glorious leader Frerk who has been appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs as the previous minister (jamesw) has had to deal with pressing RL issues. Nonetheless, due to a very swift transition everything is moving along smoothly.

Bulgaria
Bulgaria have been showing concern of Greece and Romania taking over their country, last term quite a lot of their citizens started a party called ‘Pro-EDEN’, this was because apparently Phoenix was not helping them in any way and they thought that EDEN could be better to them.
Bulgaria have had a sudden decrease in citizens and now have roughly UK’s amount. They managed to negotiate a High-Grain region from Iran and their economy is now back up and running!

Estonia
Estonia has been quiet this month. Nothing much in the media but still the hate for eLatvia for what they have done in the past which was to attack eEstonia, even though they were both in Phoenix.
Phoenix kicked eLatvia from the alliance and charged them 300G for this, they refused to pay.
Currently, 100G has been stolen from eLatvia and put into eEstonia.

Slovenia
Solvenia have been having a hard time after losing all their original territories got annexed by Croatia. They managed to get one region back but soon lost it due to lack of PHOENIX support.

Indonesia
Indonesia is currently attempting to start a large babyboom.They have released an article in a major english language newspaper in Jakarta and are hoping to get large amounts of citizens from it. So far it has been a moderate success, with them achieving a few hundred citizens per day since the article was released, however it hasn't given them the big breakthrough they were hoping for.

Russia
The main thing occupying Russia at the moment is obviously the two pronged invasion from Poland and Romania, which has seen Russia reduced to just one region, Western Siberia, which the lost due to heavy Polish assault. The invasion has crippled Russia economically and militarily, with most citizens stuck behind enemy borders along with nearly all the nations companies. However most Russians accept that the main reasons for their disappointing defeat is the many poor decisions by the admins in relation to the war module. The Russian government is working hard to try and engineer a babyboom however the invasion is making it difficult to keep track of the new citizens and is causing many new players to be stuck in occupied regions.

The Netherlands
The Netherlands are currently in a pretty dire situation in some sense domestically, because whilst they have an active and vibrant community it is very limited in size. They are struggling to attract new players, regularly having less than 10 new players a day, something that can only weaken the country. The Netherlands hardly ever have direct war due to their geographic location where they are surrounded by allies and therefore generally only fight via MPP. The UK and the Netherlands have recently been discussing a possible merger because both nations feel that we would boost our population and most importantly enable us to defend ourselves more effectively, saving on MPPs etc.

USA
The eAmericans are continuing their offensive into India as collaboration with ePakistan to wipe the nation off the map. However, rising tensions are rising between both countries, with distrust mounting from US citizens originally tanking for Serbia in Liaoning. There is also a concern in the US forum populace, with lead forum mods and administrators joining the Pakistan movement. Although the primary consensus is to support the Dioist movement, the eUS fears a possible move from Pakistan towards more Phoenix orientation (due to the support Serbia has been providing in its invasion of eIndia). However, morale is high considering the eUS’s “New World Order” propaganda. But as previously stated, themselves and EDEN rely on brute strength over strategy, and thus fear a change in military module that may affect their advantage.

Canada
Being Canucks, the poor organisation and communication between players and administration has resulted in a lack of information being made available. However, Canada are themselves become reclusive in military and the wider political sphere... a possible explanation could be a result of withdrawing until economic debts are repaid from their failed invasion of the eUK. This can be recognised through their current news events, with one war in the past week from Canada’s prospective (a defence against France in Nova Scotia). However, eCanada may be more involved in EDEN taskforce, and therefore taking part in EDEN campaigns... However, this can be an interpretation as the debt they have gotten themselves into and becoming a tool until their financial burden has been released.

Norway
eNorway is essentially a shadow of a country after its invasion and conquer between us and Russia. However, ever since we lost the regions, Finland has been in direct control of the regions (possibly reasoning with eNorway fearing a retaliation invasion). The most recent controversial topic for the Norwegians is last month’s congressional elections, involving possibly bribery of citizens.

Finland
Although eFinland has been quiet on diplomacy, there has been internal strife intensifying between political parties. Politically, it is in conflict and on the edge of civil war, with derogatory articles being released daily against each party. This in effect will severely impact its ability to govern effectively, and will lead to increased risk of constant impeachment due not to policies, but partisan arguments.

Spain
Spain is currently going discussing a host of governmental reforms, through the use of governing bodies (a form of board of directors for government) in an attempt to restrict power to the CP in case of a rogue CP (see resultant invasion of Spain from eUK). The paranoia of eSpain is associating around their desire to remain a competitive force in the turbulent stage of erep’s life.






Several Phoenix nations have suffered major defeats over the past week due to the recent change in MPP rules. However, Pheonix host some of the most valiant countries and will never be defeated.
