Hello Presidential candidates,
There seems to have been quite a discussion in the last days on these upcoming elections. The need for a debate was mentionned. I thought I'd have my shot at it with a simple set of 10 questions.
Some questions. I'd like some answers:
1)Personnellement, je crois qu'il est important de répondre aux besoins des gens qui ne parlent que français. Comment allez-vous faire pour qu'ils puisse vous comprendre, car je crois bien que vous ne parlez qu'anglais, non?
2)What is the weakest point of eCanada, in your opinion?
3) What is your opinion on aeriala nominating himself for CP without a proper vote in his party? Or at least on the claims of doing so.
4) What is the strongest point of eCanada?
5) More or less funding for the militaries?
6) More or less VAT, if it was your choice?
7) Treian as CP? How good was he in september?

Thanks to those who will actually take time to answer these questions. I hope many citizens will feel the need to ask others, so that we get a better perspective on the differences between candidates?

1) I have to use Google translate to understand them, they will have to do the same...Other candidates might try to suck up on this question, I'm going to keep it real...
2)Weakest Point - Issues are allowed to fizzle out before resolutions are made - poor activity rates in congress
3)Aeriala basically fixed his poll so he would win - Kind hypocritical to claim you are the purveyor of democracy, then blatantly ignore it
4)Strongest Point is Canada's MU's - they are growing stronger every day - As more and more MU's crop up and they continue to be funded it will only add to the activity and interest in the population
5)Funding MU's - More, Way more - to maximum sustainable capacity
6)VAT about the same, although I do believe in a complementary income tax to tax the inactive citizens to give to the active citizens through MU funding
7)I'm sure you mean August - He was OK, low on communication in articles and shady in dealing in the backroom...
😎Alliances are important. 10,000 CAd is cheap for an MPP, we should have as many as possible, but we have to start following out battle orders and not chasing Mercenary Medals - Our Allies need us
9)Funding and Transparency for MU's - Natural Enemy and support of our Allies, either on the front line or though MPP's - Lots of transparent communication through the media
10)Rolo Tahmasee - From LA Confidential. He was the man who did not exist. The man who "got away with it" - Avatar, Bruce Willis from "Tears of the Sun" - Because this is a military game and he is BadAss in that movie.. Crimson, because I will always support Crimson

9. Promouvoir les loisirs et l’éclosion d’activités culturelles afin de donner entrain au joueurs. En plus de tapper su’l’bouton « fight » , la population commence a revendiquer ses autres atouts : les artistes nous montrent leurs œuvres, les fanatiques de sport forment des clubs, les amateurs d’échecs lancent un tournoi et les écrivains s’efforcent de nous impressionner etc. Naturellement, les octrois servent d’appâts en phase de départ. Il y a occasion de batir un esprit de corps au sein des forces combatantes ainsi que de nouvelles formations attrayantes aux particuliers.
8. Il nous faut des amis bien sur. Le choix se fait en consultation avec les « hommes sages » et le public. Cette phase consultative, disons trois jours, donne comme résultat un plan concret qui sera soumis a l’approbation du congrès.

5. Plus d’argent pour les unités militaires qui participent aux activités décrites au paragraphe 9. Grosso modo, on repend les cennes de façon un peu différentes : on dépense afin de cultiver plus d’activité, ainsi moins de décrochage. Pas assez de place ici pour une analyse approfondie. Je vous invite à y penser.

ouahhh, une blague, mais je trouve bien ennuyant de toujours lire l'affaire de "canada needs change, a new vision, deserves better etc". Y'a jamais de nouvelles idees. Bon, bien je vous en presente une ou deux. Pour discussion.

1)Je suis un anglophone et assez faibles au français. Je acceptons volontiers un citoyen bilingue solide dans mon cabinet, s'ils étaient intéressés. J'ai l'habitude d'avoir une relation correcte avec l'anomie, mais elle a depuis quitté le match.
2)The weakest point of eCanada is its tendency to keep each other down. We never rally as a nation behind a single person or group and support them so that they can achieve their best. That is our weakness. The only time I saw us overcome this is when Acacia was CP.
3) My understanding of the MAP is that nominating oneself is permitted. If this is wrong, then Aeriala should be held accountable for his actions. MOO voted to support Treian but his own party didn't nominate him, MOO couldn't exercise their support for him.
4) eCanada citizens are active. For a small country, we have a several tough groups of soldiers who, pound for pound, rank with the best that eRep has to offer.
5) More funding for militaries. Ths is a war game, MOAR FUNDING equals MOAR GUNZ and MOAR STRENGTH. Funding should be equitable and balance and there should be lots of it.
6) Less VAT. 20% VAT is excessive in my opinion, but since it is at that level, keep it there and fund the military groups with it. Military groups are good for player retention which is good for the nation.
7) Treian gets a passing grade from me, no complaints.
😎 You need nations that you can count on so to that extent, alliances are necessary. You have to be able to trust a nation, like America, to keep their word in a region swap and to co-operate to maximize production bonuses.
9) My main objectives are to keep Rolo and Aeriala out of office, keep the MOO platform, replace/improve the justice system, and get onto IRC regularly.
10) I use the Kevin Coster avatar because of the wide variety of movies he's been in to use in articles. Addy and Lawrence were two of my childhood friends.
