Some more truths about Latvian government.

Day 567, 13:50 Published in Latvia Latvia by Central Bank of Latvia

This is a response to somewhat gloating article The truth about the Latvian Government by Finnish president.

Let me state some things :

1) Central Bank of Latvia was temporarily permanently banned for "using system exploits" (Law 6.1).

2) red-fox (current, third president) was banned because he was suspected as a person with multi-accounts (5.1). Namely - polar-fox. Who does share IP with red-fox. Which is not unusual for members of the same family. However relying on "The use of the same IP by more citizens is not considered to be a criterion to determine multiple accounts." appears to be too dangerous for a president.

red-fox denies having multiple accounts.

Answer from administration :
Your appeal has been registered and your case has been reanalyzed by the appeal committee.

The initial decision has remained unchanged.

Sorry guys. There will be no retreat from Zemgale.

3) Namejs (second president), who was elected while being banned, was banned for the same reason - multiple accounts. No comments from him have been recieved.

4) President candidate Smruti Chandan (referred by as "president in the office") was banned with his party. And he never was a part of Latvian community.

By the way, let me quote Citizen Law 2 :
"No insult, public accusation without proof, or indirect attack on a citizen are allowed."

And Law 6. :
"Each player is required to immediately report any system exploits or critical errors they find to the game support."

Law 7.2 :
"...public debates and/or complaints regarding the eRepublik team's actions toward one citizen or a group of citizens will not be allowed. Only the eRepublik team has the necessary tools to determine if a citizen or group has made a violation, and public discussion only created to undermine the team's decision will not be permitted."

I am not sure about Latvian cheating, but it looks to me, as if some laws could have been broken by some other players. Witholding information about possible multiaccounts until the best moment in the game, could easily fit in this category. And the accusal of latvian players in cheating is not exactly polite. As for the law 7.2...

Maybe at least temporary ban is in order? For symmetry in presidential affairs?
However that is undoubtedly not for me to decide. Just making a point. 😉

Considering removed articles and the overall mess :

Proper response via "official channel" is in making. First probably is a bit too emotional.

I am afraid Latvian players have trouble realising, that dealing with administration is a neccessity for a proper advanced gameplay. Namely - fighting against Finland.

Also - too much adrenaline is involved in the matter of "banning plague" in Latvia and critical situation in which banning so obviously benefits one side, whatever the reasons are.

And finally, complete lack of understanding the applications of the Laws of eRepublik, which I believe is not unusual for new players or old, for that matter. And does not signify "cheating" as something inherent in Latvian community.
