Social Masonry [JTDB #2]

Day 1,056, 09:35 Published in Japan Japan by Aston Reynold

Since the Japanese Tourism & Diplomacy Board's opening, we have been blessed by the spirits to have such a good turnout of volunteers... but we are always accepting others who want to help increase the player-base in eJapan! If you are interested in helping out the cause, send a PM to myself (Aston Reynold) or to the Japanese Tourism Board 2010 org.

Before I go on, I want to let everyone know of a possible development regarding the JTDB funding procedures. Initially, the plan was to send out gold to volunteers in certain countries where we want to try advertisement campaigns... soon, I want to introduce a form of Payment & Profit system, where volunteers will be able to make some money (in yen, most likely) to use on whatever they like. It is my hope that being paid will give volunteers more incentive to do their best!

As I mentioned before, our next efforts are going to be focused on the following countries:

* eIndia - Efforts are still ongoing here, and I don't have a report on our successes as of yet. However, I'm hoping we can get some help from such an noble country, and perhaps we will see a few bringing some of the eIndian culture to our doorstep. It would certainly make things more interesting

* eChina - With no ambassador-representative operating in eChina, we've had to hold off on this plan for a while. If we don't get any volunteers for this job, I myself am going to make the harrowing journey to the foot of the Sacred Mountains and present our situation to everyone from there. eChina has been a great ally, and hopefully will continue to be such a great ally in the future. I have more faith in eChina to deliver us even just a few actives to help us out with.

* ePhilippines - It is possible to draw in what few actives there are in this country to us for a short time, so they can basically get back on their feet and head back to their eNation stronger than before! In the meantime, however, their help would certainly be welcomed here in eJapan!

Please do note that India and the Philippines are currently taken by ambassador-representatives Nowe and Karin Hosogaya respectively. Wish them both the best of luck. You guys will be receiving a gold piece funding for advertisement in both countries, if needed. I will try to discuss these plans with the MoFA Alfred Ball, and will monitor our progress in these two countries carefully.

As I mentioned above, if we don't get anyone for China, I myself will take up the mantle and set up an embassy there. Please let me know now if you have any intentions to represent eJapan to the eChinese government and their citizenry. I will start setting up shop in eChina by 22:00 hours eRep time if there are no volunteers.

Good luck Ambassador-Representatives! All of eJapan is counting on your efforts! O7
