So You're New Eh?!? Part 5 (Elections/Politics)

Hey! Welcome back to another edition of So You're New Eh?!? The goals of these articles are to give some insight and understanding into this strange game.

Also, as a side note, You can only apply for jobs in Canada when we are on the map, but if we get wiped you can stil keep your job for that company, just cant get a new one.

Today we will be discussing the political system here in eCanada. Sadly, it is not like the Canadian system in RL(real life),kind of better without a senate, in my opinion.

Under the community column, there is an option for elections. These tell you what election is coming next and see past results. Elections happen every month on set days.

Party President Elections (held on 15th of every month)
These happen within the party that you join, the person you vote for will be leading the party. The leaders of the parties determine, who from your party will be the representatives for Congress, and whom the party endorses (wants) for Country President elections.

Captain Elections (held on 15th of every month)
This is an election in the Military Unit you join. This is sometimes over looked but can help show that you want a greater role in the MU.

Congress Elections (held on 25th of every month)
In these elections, you vote for the party that you think represents you or is good for the country. Think of this election like our Federal election in RL. This is very important in making laws and using our tax money for the protection of eCanada with Mutual Protection Pacts(MPPs). The main criteria for this election is that eCanada needs regions or even 1 to have a Congress.(This is why I always try to save bazookas for that week, sadly to no avail this month, next month it is!)

Country President Elections (held on 5th of every month)
The first election of every month,the Country President. The president is of course the most powerful. He can purpose unlimited amount of laws. The president can also be impeached by congress but needs 66% of the votes to pass.
Rare but can happen.

The easiest way to get into politics is to join a party, there are many great ones. Finding a party you like and enjoy being apart of is the hardest part.

I feel with smaller parties you get more voice in the decisions and direction, but that is my biased opinion, since I am the Secretary General of The Imperial Party of eCanada! Queue the Music!
