So You're New Eh?!? Part 2
Lordjas
Hey all! So you have decided to try this strange game out, but where is Canada! Long story short we tried to help our allies against a super alliance and well lets just say they came back with a vengeance...
I wrote a series of articles of some break downs of costs and other tips about the game, comment below for any questions or corrections!:
Part 1- How to get Gold
Part 2- Raw/Company Upgrades
Part 3- Accelerating Training
Part 4- Military Units
Part 5- Elections
Hey everyone! Welcome back for another edition of so you’re new here eh?!?
There is a TL😉
R at the bottom of course.
Last time we discussed how to start getting gold, by doing achievements such as training and working. The most lucrative medal (achievement) was the Battle Hero medal and what level you should attempt to go for them in the early part!Link!
Today’s topics very much related to getting more gold. This goes more along the lines of investing the gold you get from achievements to become self sufficient in having enough weapons, more importantly food to fight multiple times!
In the regards of being the most efficient, as every building takes 10 energy to produce the raw materials ,regardless of which one built. The Hunting Lodge/Rubber Plant is your best choices hands down.
But lets look at this economically, since I personally don’t have 35 gold.
How we are going to attempt this is to make the prices of all of them equivalent of gold or Canadian currency. For this example I will be using $240 Canadian dollars to 1 Gold. Currently it hovers around 235-240 for 1 Gold.
Grain Farm/Iron Mine: $1500 or 6.25 Gold
Fruit Orchard/Oil Rig: $3000 or 12.50 Gold
Fishery/Aluminum Mine: 10 Gold or $2400
Cattle Farm/Saltpeter Mine: $8500 or 35.42 Gold
Hunting Lodge/Rubber Plant: 35 Gold or $8400
So in my opinion it would be most economical to save up 10 Gold from achievements, and invest into Fishery/Aluminum, but lets look at from how long will it take for the investment to pay off. In RL (real life) this is referred to as Return on Investment (ROI). I will calculate this by magic! With the help of my assistant!
Actually, we will take what is produced daily and multiple by selling price of material on average. For this I will be using $0.02 per raw material. The return on investment (ROI) will be calculated to amount of days it will take to get your investment back.(With just selling them directly to the market)
Grain Farm/Iron Mine: $1500 or 6.25 Gold $1500/(35*$0.02)=2142
Fruit Orchard/Oil Rig: $3000 or 12.50 Gold $3000/($1.4)=2142
Fishery/Aluminum Mine: 10 Gold or $2400 $2400/($2.5)= 960
Cattle Farm/Saltpeter Mine: $8500 or 35.42 Gold $8500/($3.5)= 2428
Hunting Lodge/Rubber Plant: 35 Gold or $8400 $8400/($5)= 1680
Even when we look on return on investment, Fishery/Aluminum is a clear choice if obtaining gold is hard. It makes the most sense economically, especially when you’re just starting.
These numbers are also effected by how many regions our country has that gives us bonuses. These bonuses will make the ROI much quicker!! Here’s how it breaks down!
So theoretically speaking if we had 100% bonus it would cut all the ROI in half!! This is why we need to conquer spain 😉
With me so far?!? Well here is a sexy teacher that will be helping to answer your questions after!
Weapons and food factories!
Once you get a good amount of resources start coming in, I would recommend saving up for those 45% sales on factory upgrades and proceed to spend your hard worked Gold.
Food Production should be your first factory upgrade.(Training Centers might be an easier way This way you will always have enough food to fight and continue to produce more food, but make sure you have enough raw material coming in to account for the upgrade and increased production.
The following chart shows you exactly how much raw material you will need, for each level of factory upgrade, with bonuses.(When we defeat Spain!)
TL😉
R(to lazy;didn’t read) Start off building Fisheries/Aluminum mines for Raw materials, when money is tight. Later on move on to more efficient raw material production. Food should be first factory to upgrade and do it when they have a 45% sale off factory upgrades!
Here are some beautiful ladies/man as a reward for scrolling down 😉
See you next time!

Well. It looks like both audiences will be pleased with this one.
hope so lol
Gosh dang Superwoman!
Anyways...
I had the same Grain / Hunting lodge debate with myself during the last 45% discount period.
I figured the same as you in that the Fishery is the much better investment. But for some reason I decided to spend the gold and get the 'best of the best' even though I knew it probably wasn't the best long term investment.
A few other things to consider... the more expensive resource companies benefit more as our resource bonus increases... and from what someone told me if eCanada has all its regions we get a 1.6 food and 1.4 weapons bonus... not bad but not the 2.0 if we had all resources so that limits the benefit of the Hunting Lodge as well.
Also if you ever found yourself with slaves at some point in the future the Hunting Lodge pay off better as well.
Oh yes... subscribed as well.
I wouldn't mind conquering other lower countries with air strikes just to improve our bonus especially if they not in an alliance 😉 ahah we could always apologize after
they are not*
