I sense a lot of older players will be leaving.I might have to become less active due to the EXTREMELY slow loading times. I would not want to do that, I have a lot on my plate. I loved Beta, but V1 is not even the same game. Its a subpar simulator that's full of holes. Some features seem nice like achievements and rewards. But the trivia question thing, that's just plain JUNK. Its sensless, I understand the need to actually have the user DO something while working, but those questions are poor.
States are basically useless, and I have a feeling its going to be WAY harder to manage all the SOs Sacramento has created. The creation of SOs costs 5 gold now. Which is a waste....it costs 2 gold to run in party elections. Congress is elected by party, I was under the impression they were at large, either way its a stange system.
I do like how they show the actual number of congressmen per party on the politics page, but its still very buggy and SLOW!!!
The training module is still down, I tried training, but I could not get it to work. The shout outs is fun, but there is still no place for a personal Biography description like in the old version...at least I have not found it yet.
I proposed a law to raise citizen fee to 50 USD since we are getting new people and they will need as much help as they can get, I mean this game is SLOW and weak. Jesus Christ, I have never seen a game go from phenomanal to garbage in such a short time. They need some serious adjusting to the engine before they release this. It should have never gone live until they took our suggestions and took them seriously.
I will still play the game for the hope that they fix some of these errors, but without certain features the game feels hollow and empty. I hope they reconsider this release and put us back in beta at least for the next few months. V1 is a long way from being right, if the public plays this game, they will be GREATLY dissapointed.

It's amazing how quickly people are willing to utterly reject something solely because it's new.

Personally, I haven't seen enough of the new version to really decide if I like it or not. It's probably going to take me at least a few days worth of playing around with the new version to form an honest opinion, rather than a knee-jerk response.
As for the slowness/bugginess... is it entirely surprising when the game has only just had its entire code base rewritten? Give it time - I'm certain that there are going to be a number of issues that need to be fixed, but I'm also certain that most of them are going to get fixed fairly quickly.
Give it a few weeks, maybe a month. If you still hate it then, and if it's still just as slow and buggy, then sure, you had a point. If not, however, you may find you like the new version of the game more than you did the old one...
Give it a week before you decide to quit. They said they rewrote 90% of the code, so it's almost all new.
Personally, I dislike the trivia questions. And yeah, the system is really buggy, but v1 was just released, so I'm giving it at least two weeks. I kind of have to say, though, they should have kept a lot of the code.

Wow you guys are going completely overboard on this... V1 has a much better layout. It is much more organized. Expect some bugs. There's a reason why it's not going live to the public yet.
Entire inventory gone. No house. No food. No weapons. No gifts. meh
This is VERY ANNOYING! I can't do anything I want to, it is dog slow, and the UI is clunky. Grrrrrrr.

If the potential for bugs and actual content changes bother you that much, wtf were you playing a game that is self-admittedly in its beta phase in the first place? By definition, changes can be made at any time, various elements may be added, bugs may occur that need to be fixed... even PC games that have gone gold are rarely released perfect and glitch-free, and this game hadn't even reached that point.
If you want guarantees, perhaps you shouldn't be playing online browser games at all.
I certainly miss my inventory.
