Wrapping it all up
Hello again eNew Zealand, today I will be speaking to you as president of NZ for the last time. It's time for a quick run-down of what has happened this month.

Wars in South America
Starting fairly early in my term, we took military action against Argentina in response to their invasion of Chile. During the following week Argentina lost a large number of their regions thanks to well-coordinated action between us in NZ together with Chile, Peru and Paraguay. Following this there were talks between all of our countries with view towards signing a 2-month NAP. This came close to being finalised until there was disagreement within Chile about whether it was OK to lose 1 region as part of a peace deal. In the end, peace talks fell apart and the war kept moving on.
Despite this, we regained all of our regions, got Chile back on the map and cleared Argentina from our territory. Sadly, Chile was again kicked off the map, but they made it clear to me that they preferred that option than to sell a region to Argentina for peace. Currently they are effectively keeping most of Argentina's military resources occupied here in this part of the world.

Defence and foreign affairs at the homefront
As I'm sure you all know, Brazil declared NE against us a few days before congress elections. Thanks to Brazil not really caring in the first battle, and us stalling them out for the next 2 we managed to guarantee security for all 4 regions during congress elections - this was the biggest goal we had in the campaign and it was successfully achieved.

Following this, we were wiped pretty quickly as brazil decided it would be good to take us off the map. Peace agreements went quite well in the previous week (for us to get at least 3, probably 4 of our 4 regions) including a 1 month ceasefire from Argentina and Brazil. These talks have been put on hold for the last day or two because of the elections and upcoming change in government.

Also, I am very proud of everybody's work today and yesterday in the Resistance war in Otago after which we have finally made it back onto the map!

Ministry of Finance
People don't usually hear very much about this, but Koska de STRAH has been doing some great work in the ministry this month, along with some friends of his who he has had some help from. Basically due to some sneaky secret actions he has taken, our national tax revenue per day has increased by about 100% in the last month or so. I look forward to seeing how this continues to progress in the coming weeks and months, as it is very helpful when it comes to competing against bigger countries.
Final thanks
Finally I would like to say a big thank you to everybody who has helped me out this month. In particular thanks to Ronell, my vice president, for all the help she has given in international negotiations and with battle supplies. Another big thank you for Sor3na who has also been helping in the same areas, even to the point of staying up until 5AM talking to Brazil's government with me.

Of course I will also offer my thanks to all the other people who have helped with supplies to keep us covered across all the time zones (Milanovic Nikola and prosvetni inspektor helped a lot, and Darko206 was there at a few important moments as well)

Thanks also to the leaders from Chile, Peru, Paraguay and Venezuela this month who have been very good friends and sometimes just fun to talk to about other crap. Also I can't forget MisterTerminator and the work he does communicating to other countries overseas when we need to arrange battles, or find more people to help fight.
The month of May 2012
I look forward to seeing how things go with our upcoming president (looks like it will be Mister Terminator - Congratulations on getting CP after less than 1 year in-game) and how we make progress with Brazil and our other neighbours.

Have fun everyone and I will see you on the other side
