Dear USA,

First of all, congratulations on regaining all your original territories again. It was a fantastic fight, and I'm certain it brought life once more to the stagnant world of eRepublik. You were a great enemy, and I hope we can all do it again some time.

Now, the reason I'm writing this article is due to the recent articles that have flooded the British media by notable figures such as Emerick, Woxan and Franco. These articles once again mock our supposed "neutrality" and claim that we'll be invaded soonish. Now I know it's all meant to be funny, but frankly it's getting on people's nerves more than anything.

I know that you're not stupid - you're simply not going to invade any time soon. It'd be the stupidest thing you could do, activating 10+ MPPs against your own Country that has only recently regained its full independence again. Sure, it'd be fun as hell, but I don't think it follows your and EDEN's new policy of not activating MPPs like you did way back when in French Toast. So please, stop insulting everyone's intelligence, and stop proclaiming an invasion unless you're actually gonna do it in the near future. It was only funny when Glados/Zoli proclaimed an invasion of USA because it actually happened.

So, while we have a border and open War with each other, and it looks like neither of us are going to invade, why don't we just work on keeping our relations civil? Don't degrade our relationship into the same thing that Romania and Hungary now share - constant goading and baiting, with no action likely to happen. It's boring and not fun for anyone involved. Once again, if you're gonna to write stupid articles, please just act on them. I'm not claiming the moral high ground or anything, because it's a useless high ground in eRep, but you'll probably notice that I chose not to respond with my own inflammatory article, because I actually respect you as a Nation.

Finally, I just want to make a short comment on your opinion towards PEACE. You have every reason to hate them, they took over almost all of your country. I'm not asking you to like them, but I am asking you to respect them. They fought extremely hard, and taking down almost all your states is no small feat. Imagine where we would be without PEACE? The eWorld would stagnate with no Wars, the economy would be rife with extreme over production - even more than we have now - and the game wouldn't be fun. Just think about it.
